Pousadas (B&B) em Mandeville-en-Bessin, NOR

"Charming stay in a beautiful, classical manse in Bayeaux in the Normandy region. Though not in Bayeux town, the location is convenient for a full-day D-Day experience (my reason for visiting). The owner recommended a great place for dinner and provided home-made apricot and red currant confitures, both lovely with croissants and breads."

"Beautiful place - very clean and comfortable. Probably the most comfortable bed over an 18 night tour. Owner is very helpful and polite - lovely breakfast provided by him. Have stayed here before and came back which is a recommendation in itself. Five stars."

He served pasture-raised eggs collected from his chickens that very morning, along with his wife’s delicious homemade jam and the most amazing Normandy honey. Everything felt so authentic and personal—it was almost...

"The owner was personable and attentive. So much memorabilia. It was fantastic. We will stay again! The room was clean, good was fresh and great. And, one house off the beach!! Couldn't ask for a better experience."
