Late check in was very helpful and the location worked out well. The room was a good size, clean and quiet. Requested “breakfast in bed” which was ignored. Tables in restaurant weren’t setup properly, breakfast was average.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is well situated. Near Chinatown with lots of restaurants and not far from Picadilly, Market Street and Royal Exchange Theatre. Easy to get to and transport system excellent. Safe - room key required to use lifts and enter building at night. Our room was ok but the decor was a bit tired. Soundproofed rooms fabulous though, with no disturbance from other rooms.

Hotel has changed its name, we had not been advised of this so walked around Manchester for 30 minutes trying to find it !!!!! And £30 for a G&T and a pint of beer including a £4 service charge, poor in my opinion. Hotel clean and staff were friendly.

A good compromise between the Piccadilly station and the city centre. Comfortable interior design - rooms are very well curated and kept clean. Little interaction with the staff.

We deliberately tried to choose a quiet hotel as we had an early start but the hotel had a noisy event going on until 1am that made it impossible to sleep on the upper floors. To be fair on calling reception they moved us to a different room but not sure what would have happened if another room was not available. I feel if there have such an event on this should be made clear at the time of booking

Hotel is nice enough, staff friendly, room was nice, up to date and clean with everything you would expect. WiFi superfast and easy to get on. Only a couple real sticking points for me was; 1. The TV system isnt the greatest, its laggy, missing half the Uk channels and the TV guide takes forever to load. We also have a message constantly popping up in the bottom right saying 'Storage almost full'. Casting from your phone works great though and the WiFi was perfectly fast for streaming. 2. The drainage seemed a bit slow in the bathroom, the shower flooded very easily and when you ran the tap in the sink it filled the sink up quicker than it could drain 3. On checkout we were not asked if we were happy with the stay etc. Generally a nice place to stay though for the money.

Hotel was easy to find - easy parking at QPark Food was good in the restaurant & the breakfast was nice. Only thing I would say is for the tea & coffee to be served to you at breakfast instead of out of a machine - don’t really like machine coffee as never very hot

The room was very clean, bed very comfortable. And the shower was hot and powerful. The only thing I could suggest is to have a light over the coffee and tea area, as it rather dark, especially when you’re using hot water. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel. My room was laid out in an interesting way that maximized space and created a separate work area, which was useful. Some really nice touches throughout, like the large industrial bathroom sink. The vibe is a little bit hipster/cool, but even if you are not so cool (like me), you will feel very comfortable, welcome, and happy.

Liked that the hotel decor was bit different to the standard hotel. Bit different but not cheesy. Particularly the room set up was fab. Loved the bed being at an angle which worked so well with the view out the window! Room decor was great! Had a really cool feel, loved the street scene wallpaper. Really nice touch it had a fridge. Bathroom was also great. Had a fantastic shower. Staff have very good service, check in and out was super quick and efficient. Location is excellent. Only thing that we found a little off putting was the dj in the hotel bar that was very loud and bit off putting if you want a quiet drink before or after you’ve been out.

Lovely facilities but for the price I paid fell a bit short. We were on the first floor and all we could hear until 2am was loud music. Given we wanted we get to bed early this was less then ideal and as a result were super tired the following day. Secondly I got an “upgrade” which I wish I hadn’t taken because it hardly seemed an upgrade from the room I had so just be careful when you get an email from the hotel saying upgrade your room. The noise is really what leads me to writing a lower review - there was a dj playing in the bar area but it was way to loud The rest of the room is nicely done up and clean it’s just not very sound proof

We had an amazing experience at Brooklyn Hotel. From check in, waiting staff at the bar and breakfast, they displayed warm and exceptional customer service. Nothing was too short of an issue, and offered amazing food recommendations. The hotel facilities were great and we really enjoyed the decor. Our only small fault would be the heat of the shower, very warm even on the coolest temperature. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a superb experience- and shoutout to Bailey! Super guy!

Only stayed for 1 night, the hotel was ideally located for us. Lovely welcome on arrival. The room clean with the most comfortable beds. Fantastic choice of food at breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and good location.
Nice hotel in good location, but some things let it down. Being a Gold member and it being VIP hotel a room upgrade should be standard when available. They had upgraded rooms available because I checked and they still didn’t offer. Not did they offer late checkout. Rooms are comfortable and mattresses are lovely. Hotel bar prices are very high, even higher than the cocktail bar The Alchemist where the drink is the experience! All in all an ok hotel but others in the City to choose from for my next visit.

Excellent hotel despite the view
Hotel and room are really smart and modern. My one and only down side was I paid to upgrade to a city view and it’s absolutely pointless. We was on floor 3 looking directly at the scabby shops facing. Closed the curtains straight away as a terrible view. The room its self was excellent. Bathrobes, coffee machine, and fab shower. Tv didn’t work but we didn’t need it really. The bar and restaurant downstairs were really nice and loved the breakfast

We had a wondeful stay here, room was beautiful, the city view was great too. Staff at check in and throughout our stay were really friendly and approachable. Love all the quirky details in the decor and in the little things in the rooms. The bar and the attached comfy seating area is a definite plus point! My only complaint, the day we checked in there was a VERY young man serving at the bar, he didnt have very much knowledge at all about drinks - he didnt even know the item I was asking for, i then asked for something else and had to point to it but he still proceeded to try and serve me something else and then when adding a mixer actually filled up the whole glass so there was no taste of the actual drink! Apart from that no complaints at all and I really look forward to coming back to the hotel again!

Excellent long weekend in Manchester. Hotel Brooklyn is in an ideal location, all the team we came into contact with were polite and welcoming. Only gripe was the inconsistency of breakfast - great & well presented on Saturday, less so on Sunday and Monday was poor. Plenty of management types walking past but failing to notice the lack of hot food on the counter.
