Tucked onto a peaceful wooded lot, Gray Bear 454 is a charming cabin-style home offering a delightful Mammoth Lakes escape. Sleeping 10 guests, this 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom property is located less than a mile from The Village at Mammoth. Enjoy easy access to skiing, shopping, dining, and Summer events—including open-air festivals like the popular Bluesapalooza. After a day on the mountain, guests will love relaxing by the gas fireplace or in the private hot tub.

Step inside this 2-level, reverse floor plan home to find a tiled entry leading to 2 guest bedrooms, a bunk room, and laundry room on the bottom floor. The guest bedrooms respectively feature a queen bed and king bed, while the bunk room has 1 twin-over-twin bed and 1 twin-over-full bed.

On the second level, an open living space with hardwood floors welcomes guests to gather. When it’s time to rest and relax, the plush sectional offers prime seating in front of the fireplace and 72” TV. The balcony is the perfect spot to start and end each day, enjoying views of the evergreens and Sierra Star Golf Course or stargazing from the hot tub.

Easily explore with parking for 2 vehicles. For the nearest ski access, guests can take the free gondola from The Village (4 minutes) up to Canyon Lodge or drive directly to Canyon Lodge (5 minutes), Main Lodge (9 minutes), or Eagle Lodge (4 minutes).

Awesome House!

Stayed here multiple times. House has everything a big group needs. Plenty of beds, huge common area, great kitchen and an awesome deck with a hot tub on it. Great neighborhood, very quiet. Plenty of parking. Book it! You’ll love it.

Great rental

The house was great. Just as pictured and clean. The only complaint we had was that there are a lot of spiders and webs around the house (especially around the windows). Other than that the house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Location is great. Would recommend.

Amazing Family Adventure

The home was even better than the photos!!! It was absolutely perfect for a family 7 and two little kids. The king size beds were very comfortable...and the bunk beds were a riot for the 4 year old! The kitchen and eating area were, again, perfect for us. It was well stocked, clean, and had a great side by side refrigerator to hold everyone's goodies. The deck , grill, and jacuzzi were all appreciated after long hikes, bike rides, and skiing. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us. p.s. The garage and parking were wonderful!!

Fantastic cabin

Terrific cabin within close proximity to 2 mammoth ski lodges. The beds were very comfortable. Huge master bath & outside jacuzzi were much appreciated after hours of skiing. Definitely will book again.

Spacious home for family gathering

Our entire family (3 generations including 4 children aged 6,5,3 and 3) had a wonderful time together for an extended weekend celebrating a family birthday. The 4 bunk beds were perfect fir the children while the 3 other bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The upstairs master suite had an incredible bathroom with terrific rainshower fixture and large soaking tub. The large kitchen was a dream to work in and the living room accommodated the entire family. The tall bar tables actually were perfect for jigsaw puzzles! Everyone greatly enjoyed the hot tub and walks through the golf course and into the nearby downtown. We only wish we had time to stay longer!

Beautiful home!

My family/friends stayed here during our mammoth wedding weekend and it was perfect! Beautiful home for close groups with plenty of space. The BBQ on the patio made cooking for a group easy and fun. Definitely recommend and we plan to stay here again.

Beautiful, modern and great location. The home was filled with everything we could ask for. The property manager was very professional, extremely responsive and was available to answer any questions we had. We definitely will stay at this property again.

Perfect family weekend getaway

The property was very clean and well decorated. Everything including bathrooms and and kitchen seem to be new and/or very well kept. The location is close to stores and restaurants but also on the golf course so in the winter it felt more private and the kids had lots of room to run and play. Overall lovely stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay

The house was exactly as described. Beautiful home, very clean. Easy to use appliances. Kitchen was fully equipped. Check in and check out were easy. It was a quiet home with plenty of space for us to spread out and have individual privacy. TVs in each room allowed for group watching and individual choices. Location was great for all we wanted to do. The deck was a lovely spot to relax at the end of the day. We had good communication with the rental agency before we arrived. The last day we had a question near the end of the day. I left a message for the local office about the jacuzzi (it was locked with a cipher lock and we didn’t know where the code was) but never heard back. It wasn’t an emergency and the outgoing message said for emergencies they called back quickly. Perhaps they are short staffed due to COVID and how busy Mammoth has been this summer. We had hoped to use the jacuzzi and couldn’t. Not hearing back, we figured the jacuzzi was locked due to COVID. Perhaps I didn’t see a note about that on the listing. Either way, the whole stay was perfect and we would definitely stay there again. I bet winter would be fabulous with all the fire places and cozy options.

Exceptional rental

Wow, this home was awesome. Great attention to detail through out the home with high end furnishings, linens, and kitchen appliances that made our stay comfortable and memorable. The location is also perfect with it just far enough from the village that it is peaceful, but close enough for an easy bike ride. I definitely recommend this property for your mammoth vacation.
