"One of the best VRBO experiences I have had. Owners were extremely good at communicating. Location was perfect. In the water. Incredibly clean and functional and with all the necessities including coffee, milk, condiments and full kitchen. As I arrived their daughter was picking apples and gave me a few - a perfect welcoming gift. "

"Last minute booking due to NS forested park trails being closed due to wildfire risks…what a great pivot! Beautiful house, well stocked with great hosts. Lots of stairs if that is a concern. "

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"What a beautiful place to stay, right on the water with all amenities to enjoy your stay. Comfortable furniture and beds, the fireplace is beautiful as is the screen room. Kitchen was wonderful to cook in!Owners are so friendly as are their pups!We are already planning a return visitThanks so much!"

"Truly enjoyed our time at the BigSky Sea Shanty! The views are unparalleled and the property is in a private area without any traffic. All amenities were provided and the hot tub was perfect for stargazing at nighttime. Lorin was a great host with lots of tips and suggestions for things to do in the area. Very prompt in responding to any questions. Very much appreciated our time at this cottage."

"I wish we were still there . The house views were beyond our expectations of the ocean and the sunsets. You can tell the owners put a lot thought into the layout to get the best views of ocean and land. To be able to sit on patio and enjoy the ocean views and watch the Blue Jays on inside TV at the same time was amazing After a day of exploring the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind and relax over looking the ocean .The kitchen is supplied with all your needs and we enjoyed BQ meals on the...

"The house was a little tricky to find but once we did we did not want to leave! It is isolated in the best ways and the beach access is incredible. The house itself was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The amenities were also a great touch. We can’t wait to come back again hopefully soon!"

"A good fit for our family needs. A fairly short and beautiful commute to the town of Antigonish. A lovely old house that reminded us of years gone by. Thanks, Doug."

"This is the absolutely Best place on earth to stay. The rv is more comfortable than other houses we have stayed in. Having your own personal beach is a major asset. The host is quick to respond and make contact and made every effort to return items I left behind. We all really loved this place. Will use again in future"
