"No cleaning service in the room for short stays. Blinds that do not close properly. When you enter there is a bunch of flies and smells like trash. There was a rat in the pool area. Also, the area is full of junkies and homeless people."

"Quarto limpo, lojas e restaurantes nos redores, otima localizacao"

"If you're looking for a unique stay in the Castro, the Hotel Castro is perfect! The rooms are cozy but very charming and perfect for 1-2 travelers. There's a grocery store right across the street, and excellent coffee shops and dining options within walking distance. If you're into nightlife, there are bars and clubs just around the corner."

"Great hotel"

"Good value for anyone attending a conference at Moscone, easy walking distance. That said, it sits right on the edge between the calm streets and the sketchy streets of San Francisco. Turning right from the hotel entrance, you'll see a lot of drug users and homeless people. To the left, toward Moscone, it's all fine. Breakfast is disappointing, so don't rely on it too heavily. The room amenities were satisfactory."
