"Great location if you want to enjoy East Burke. Easily walk to all the great places to eat, trail info, bike shop, store and cafe. Great hub for riding. The kids loved the bunk beds. The host was very responsive and provided lots of local information. "

"We were so impressed by this cabin house. The location is surrounded by trees and nature which made for a peaceful, private, escape. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous, very large and accomodating, and spotless. We were so happy we chose this house for our family vacation. "We've enjoyed our stay at the kirby. The view is breathtaking .Kitchen is fully stocked but some of the utensils have broken handles. But it wasnt a big deal. One of the upstair room have no air conditioner so it gets warm on a hot days. Overall we love the kirby and plan to come back next fall."

"We had a lovely stay in this property at Carroll. It was quiet and serene. The house was well equipped with all required amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. The host had even kept some beverages in the fridge which he allowed us to use. The barbecue grill did not have enough propane but I had asked the host about this prior to our stay and he had told us about the best place to get the propane from.The interior of the house has a rustic decor which was very interesting.The only shortcoming...

"Beautiful quiet and peaceful area, me and my daughter enjoyed a mini getaway to Faraway Pond. The adorable cottage had all the amenities needed and we loved the scenic view of the pond and the kayaks. Got some awesome sunset pictures! Mary was super responsive and thoughtful. We wouldn't hesitate to come back for another visit. I bet the Fall foliage is gorgeous. "
