"A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended."

"A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend."

We enjoyed our breakfast and Sarah, the owner, was very helpful. We stayed overnight and were out most of the time exploring the area and enjoying the great local seafood. "

"Had another great stay at The Driftwood. Great location, with on site parking. Help yourself breakfast ,with a variety of breads ,juices ,fruit and cereals .Really welcoming and relaxed makes for a great stay .Will definitely stay again ,and are already planning a next stay. "

"Really warm welcome at the hotel, taken to our room which was very clean cosy and snuggly. Amenities in the room excellent and we were catered for well, including sufficient space for the dogs. Ate two nights in the bar/restaurant, staff very good, food lovely, excellent selection for gluten free which was amazing to experience. A lovely restful couple of days and made To feel exceptionally welcome "

"So close to the Weymouth promenade, the small double is very small but dog friendly and clean enough for the price well worth it. Parking is a problem. "
