"The nostalgia"

"The overall cleanliness was adequate. The lobby washroom was poorly maintained. All the toilets were full of urine and feces. Whether this was an act of goofiness from hotel guests or others. When I walked in I was hit with the mal odour equivalent to a roadside outhouse. Hopefully this is not representative of the Marriott standards."

"We were a little concerned when we arrived, as another guest's vehicle had been vandalised - windshield smashed and glass everywhere. There were no further incidents during our stay. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful, although we were not given the ticket for our free breakfast which delayed us eating. It was resolved in a timely manner though. An old, historic hotel and beautiful views over the water."

After a long day doing the tourist thing, we found that most of the channels featured sports. Oh well. Still a great stay."

"This place is very dirty. When I pulled back the bed clothes you could see the outline of the previous person on the bedsheets. I don't think the bed got changed. Bedding was sour, greasy and smelled of unwashed bodies. Behind the door in the bathroom was disgusting. Hair and who knows what. No AC. The stink of the forest fires was in the room all night. I think there was a drug deal going on in the parking lot when we arrived. Very shady area. This place is way overpriced. A...
