"I JUST LOVE THIS HOTEL AND THE STAFF THERE ARE AWESOME. SHOUT OUT TO MEGAN- SHE CHECK ME IN AND MADE ME FILL RIGHT AT HOME. WE HAD THE KING ROOM SUITE AND IT WAS SOO COZY - WE FELT RIGHT AT HOME AND KINDA HATE TO LEAVE. THIS WILL BE OUT HOTEL EVERYTIME WE VISIT WILMINGTON NC!!"

"The hotel smells fusty, since you get into the lobby there’s a laundry back to reception and I don’t know what is the problem but it’s not good. The same problem in the room, looks like it’s an old construction and they don’t care about to make it clean for the people."

"People that actually care about people is hard to find!!! , and EVERYONE here genuinely cared for us. Havent felt this much hospitality in ages. Gave us all toothbrushes because we forgot ours. Helped us get into our car when we lost the keys , let us enjoy the pool after check-out while we still didn't have our keys. Answered front desk phone promptly and kindly every time day and night. Just so nice and helpful....What an incredible group of people! Thank you guys again! "
"Os funcionarios foram sempre muito atenciosos e prontos a resolver qualquer pedido. Meu primeiro quarto cheirava mofo e o ar-condicionado necessitava limpeza no filtro, pois ao liga-lo para aquecer o quarto, o alarme de fumaça ou incendio disparava. Ao relatar este inconveniente e desconforto a recepção, a atendente fez questao de ja providenciar um novo quarto, o qual estava perfeito em todos os sentidos. Minha estadia foi agradavel e certamente retornaria a este hotel. A cozinha completa...

"This property was disgusting. It had prostitution and drug users all over the place. Owners had just taken over. Our room had a leak in the roof when we came back from dinner and was about to bust the ceiling wide open. The pool was closed. There was no breakfast buffet or even coffee available. It was absolutely horrible. "
"We will be back. Great staff! Great location! Beautiful view! All this and they take care of the cats that show up on their property. They make sure they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and cared for! I really loved that! Every place has cats! Most are not smart enough to know that caring for them is the best way to control the populations. It was a great place. One staff member has worked at this location for 37 years and several over 20 years. That speaks to the kind of place this...
"There is no parking at this hotel however, they offer valet for $29 a night +7 dollars for SUV. Or truck. Which is a terrible. You can use the city meters for parking and it’s three dollars an hour from 6 PM to 9 AM. It is free. We were fortunate to find a city meter right in front of the hotel that we pulled into check in. We ended up staying in that spot and only cost us $15 to park with the city meter.
The hotel location is excellent for walking tons of shops and restaurants within them...
"Beautiful property, fabulous decoration in the best location in Wilmington - you can walk everywhere. It didn’t bother me, but I think there are 2 things that should be more clear before reservation: 1) there’s no elevator (which is obvious considering this is a house from the 1800’s). But it may be challenging if you have luggage or can’t climb stairs. 2) vegan breakfast is served starting at 8:00 am. Again, it was ok with me, but for someone with an early day start or meeting, that could be a...
