    Originalmente a propriedade de Maggie Setzer, para quem Maggie Valley foi nomeado, a terra que a Mountain Joy se encontra é um lugar especial.     Desfrute do ambiente campestre pacífico das nossas casas. Temos um, dois e quatro quartos, todos equipados com lareiras a lenha, TV a cabo, internet e cozinhas prontas para cozinhar uma refeição caseira. Fora as varandas têm cadeiras de balanço para que você possa desfrutar do seu café da manhã ou apreciar o pôr do sol nas montanhas à noite. Nossa piscina exterior envidraçada (sazonal) oferece um local agradável para relaxar.

    Mountain Joy Cottages está centralmente localizado no coração de Maggie Valley apenas um bloco até Setzer Cove Road, com fácil acesso a todas as atracções da área. Estamos a poucos minutos do Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway e do Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A área é repleta de artesanato, antiguidades e lojas de presentes. We love this cozy cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second time staying at this cabin. Its close to town but still feels pretty secluded tucked away in the corner. We had clean linens and the basic kitchen utensils had We needed to cook. We only saw one Elk but it was still a great trip!

Mini vacation

Our three day stay was very pleasant. We found the cabin clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cabin was convenient to the main road.

ELK

The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Cabin

Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

The trees from the porch was blocking most of the view. The bed was hard not enough hot water. There were also spider webs in the bathroom right around the window. I have to say it was in a good location close to everything.

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Bear cabin

Bed was horrible, sheets stained, floors dirty, air filter dirty, hot tub dirty, and didn’t feel safe with out a deadbolt on the doors.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

It was very clean and cozy, perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. The property is absolutely stunning this time of year. We enjoyed relaxing out on the front porch, overlooking the pond and all the colorful leaves. Will definitely be back!

Just a little get away

I will ALWAYS stay at this cabin when I visit Maggie Valley and I will ALWAYS use Carolina Vacations / Mountain Joy Cabins for my reservation. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and I look forward to another vacation and staying at this cabin.

Good just needs some better cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin isn’t a bad place but you could use a better cleaning crew. There were cobwebs in places such as the curtain rods and just kind of dusty in general. There were a pair of dusty jeans that have been under the bed for a good while. Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.

Christmas Week

The cabin was sweet, perfect size for a couple.……the furniture was impossible to get comfortable in, wifi service was poor, there are cracks in the walls to the outside and the fireplace didn’t have a good draw.
