"Only thing is people need to respect the reserved space for those that are disabled. We had two people park in that spot and they were not staying with us in the unit. Yes, there are other spaces but having that spot for husband does make a difference. "

"Had a wonderful stay at the Walden. Found the cabin to be neat and clean. Check in process was simple with lock box and code provided just prior to arrival. The location feels secluded although there are neighbors you can’t see them and rarely hear them. The private spot on the river is perfect for fishing, floating and wading. Can’t wait to go back. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Our visit was during some extremely hot weather and the house stayed nice and cool despite the heat outside. The bed was comfortable, we really enjoyed the movie theater seat style couch and the kitchen was equipped with enough dishes, pots etc.The views from the deck were so beautiful - better than some of the views at the national park! "We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"Me and 9 members of my family stayed comfortable, the parking was very tight for 4 vehicles, we had a few issues but they were taken care of the same day or by the next day. "Hotel location at the crossroad of highly popular roads made it noisy all day and night. To avoid if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. The room was just below the roof AC machine controlling the corridors cooling. It turned on and off every hour making the most horrible sound and trembling of the room. The staff admitted it but couldn’t help it. The breakfast was super limited and the cherry on the top is that you eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery 﫣☹️"
