"The room was large and clean and completely comfortable--the hosts thought of everything. The bathtub and shower were both fantastic and we slept well in the bed. The breakfast was fresh and wonderful. Our hosts, Heidi and Tom, were kind and friendly and great to communicate with. They have created a welcome and interesting atmosphere in a terrific location. We look forward to staying again. "

"Mansion Hill Inn is fantastic! We were there for a lovely spring weekend in Madison and everything was as smooth as it could be. The place is beautiful, lovingly restored old home. Our room was fabulous, we especially appreciated the large bathroom and wonderful shower. Super friendly staff that were always available and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again"

"This hotel has all the makings of a good place to stay, but it falls short! The room had an unpleasant odor, and there was absolutely no housekeeping service or towel exchange—during a four-day stay, nothing was done, even after I specifically requested it at the front desk. The staff couldn't care less. The breakfast is decent—which is a slight redeeming factor—but the cleanliness is definitely the weak point."
