Icing on the lake was an awesome place!
The property was great! Probably the nicest house we have ever rented. The house was beautiful, functional and had everything you could need. The towels and linens were so nice, and beds were comfy. I wish we had had more time to enjoy all the property had to offer. Our family stayed the weekend to attend our dads Celebration of life, and everything was great! Elle was so nice to communicate with. We would definitely recommend! If we are that way again we would book, but would have to save up:)

Immaculate home
This place is wonderful. One of the best properties I've stayed in using VRBO. The layout, the openness was spectacular. We rented this house as a surprise for my mom's 74th birthday and she was blown away. The kids didn't want to leave. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax with your family this is a great place with 8 bedrooms in a multi-level home. 5 stars all around.

This place is a gem for a large extended family!
We love all the space that this place provides, both in bedrooms and in living spaces, including 2 full kitchens. Elle, the owner, was so helpful in answering my questions!! All our communication was clear and quick. We had an issue on our end because of a family situation and she helped us in every way possible to solve the problem. Looking forward to being there next year!

Beautiful Home
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Lake Gaston. You really could not ask for a nicer stay. The house is huge. There is so much space for everyone. The house was furnished beautifully and there are so many fun things to do, even in the winter. I can’t say enough nice things about our stay!

Perfect Lake House
Our family celebrated Christmas here and the house was exactly what we were looking for, clean and spacious. There are numerous shared spaces around the house where different groups could gather so it never felt cramped or crowded. Some people were watching a movie in the theater room, some were chatting around a fire place, others were playing card games, and others were watching football - and there were separate spaces to do all of these at the same time! Elle was incredibly responsive and accommodating host; whether I reached out to her in the late evening or early morning, she always responded to questions very promptly. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing family weekend!
Our stay was absolutely perfect! We recently found out we had long lost family members and we got to have the most special reunion at this house. Elle was so responsive and helpful and the house had everything we needed! I would absolutely recommend and we look forward to going back!!

This is an amazing home! We stayed to celebrate early Christmas with my family and had 22 people (children and adults). The 8 large bedrooms were great for sleeping and the two levels of living space provided plenty of room for us all. The kids loved having movie night in the movie room and playing the provided board games. There are two kitchens which helped when preparing dinners! The views are amazing and we really enjoyed the gas fireplaces during the evening. We hope to come back in the summer to get out on the lake but this house really has it all to enjoy even in December!

The BEST Vacation Home!
From the moment we decided to book the house to the very last "Thank you" message we received from the host, this has been nothing but a positive experience. The pics are beautiful, but the house is so much more beautiful when you're there! The booking was easy through VRBO, then the host contacted us after the booking to ask if we needed anything. All requests were honored by her and she always promptly responded to all questions. The house had everything we wanted and more. The kids (& the adults) enjoyed the lake and all the fun activities set up for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the firepit. The hot tub, the theater, the well-stocked kitchen, extra blankets....everything was good. Amazing host! Amazing house! We will definitely be back again....and again...and again! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us!

Wonderful Property
Elle is an amazing host who presented a beautiful waterfront property with all the items you could imagine needed already there. This is a must stay and there is just so much space for you to host a large family. The internet is stable but satellite so don’t expect to stream a lot but there is so much available on dish plus Disney that you will be good. All that said between the beautiful grounds, hot tub, fire pit, deck, dock, and the cute neighborhood of Warrenton I doubt you spend much time inside and if you do pour a drink and enjoy there view by the fireplace!

Beautiful house on an inlet off lake Gaston which made it great for swimming & easy access with the boat to the lake. House is in perfect condition and well furnished.

Wonderful family vacation house
We really enjoyed our time in this house on Lake Gaston. It was the perfect blend of relaxing space and fun activity on the water. We spent most days swimming off the dock, and evenings eating together, playing pool and other games, and just hanging out. This house allowed us all to have our own space and be together as a family.

Family Reunion
We were a party of 18 with ages ranging from 15-80+. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have multiple different activities going on at the same time. It was also nice being just off the main lake out of the wind and wake to swim. This is the third house we’ve rented at Lake Gaston and will likely come back.

Fun stay at the Lake
Our family enjoyed a great stay at this property! Room for everyone, lots of updates and fun spaces to enjoy. The game area, theater room and dock were used a lot during our stay. We were happy to discover the hot tub and charcoal + gas grills, plus a basketball hoop at the end of the street which the neighbor encouraged us to use. The wifi worked great when the young adults were still asleep but was, as you might imagine, a little harder to come by with our whole group accessing it -- something the owner is well aware of and working to improve. I'd recommend renting the pontoon boat to get out onto the lake and really take advantage of the location...just beautiful!

Excellent view , great boat dock , home was spectacular. Deep water. Home has all the family needs with luxury Theater room with surround sound, very large screen was unbelievable. Hot tub, pool table got it all. Definitely be back Spell Family

Life is better at the lake
Our group of 10 adults (5 couples) plus two children and three dogs had a wonderful time at this house. Tony is extremely welcoming and made everything very easy for us. We highly recommend this property (and also recommend renting Tony's pontoon boat!!), and we will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!

Offsite team meeting
This was a great house for an offsite work meeting for 7 of us. Bedrooms were comfortable and there was various places for us to gather to eat and meet, including a nice theatre room. The location is great if you intend to stay at the house. There are not a lot of stores or restaurants nearby so we brought what we needed with us. We did take the pontoon boat to the marina for dinner and had a sunset cruise on the way back to the house. This was a nice conclusion to our stay.

This house was amazing, and we had a wonderful stay. Every room was clean, and comfortable. The property manager is pleasant and responds quickly. I highly recommend this property.
