"The property is not decorated remotely like the photos. Bare walls. Everything is very dated and rundown. The house is large with lots of room but a house that size has to be cleaned much better. Bad dust everywhere, floors were sticky, inside all of the kitchen cabinets were filthy. Half the lights in the house didnt work or we the fixtures were missing. Dishwasher was broken, washing machine smelled really bad. Outside landscaping, everything was overgrown and unkept. The path to the driveway...

"The host was very responsive and supportive. The place was very clean, organized and updated. It was perfect for us. "

"It rained our 2 nights here so we only could use indoor features. We didn't find any of the furniture comfortable and had to go out and buy pillows as the ones provided were very flat and stiff. Also to note for anyone with mobility issues, the steps to get to the front door and indoor steps (house is a split level) are pretty steep. Views of the river were nice and liked the fairly isolated location."

"The cottage was very comfortable. The Harbor Light Grill was convenient with good food. We all enjoyed the kayaks. Carp Lake is very peaceful. "
