This charming 110 m² two-bedroom house in Madeira is the perfect retreat for families and friends seeking a relaxing and memorable escape. Spread over two floors, the house features inviting rustic decor that contributes to its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Please note that access to the house is exclusively pedestrian and dimly lit at night.

The open-plan living area includes a comfortable lounge space, a television for your favorite shows, and a dining table for shared meals and conversations. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare homemade meals, including a stove, an oven, and essential cooking utensils and cutlery.

Upstairs, you'll find two well-appointed bedrooms. One features a single bed and a double bed, while the other includes a double bed. All beds are made with hotel-quality linens to ensure a restful night's sleep. One of the bedrooms also opens onto a private terrace with a seating area—an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

The bathroom is equipped with clean towels and complimentary toiletries for your convenience.

For your comfort, the house is always professionally cleaned.

We recommend guests arrive during the day or with flashlights for easier access to the house.

Nestled in the heart of Porto da Cruz, Caminho da Terra Baptista offers a peaceful escape surrounded by Madeira’s breathtaking natural beauty. Ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, the area provides direct access to scenic hiking trails such as Vereda da Terra Baptista and Levada do Furado, both offering spectacular views over the mountains and Atlantic Ocean.

Guests can enjoy the nearby black sand beaches of Alagoa and Maiata, perfect for surfing or simply relaxing by the sea. The area also offers cultural highlights like the Museu Família Teixeira and the iconic traditional houses of Santana, located just a short drive away.

Local dining options, including Katrepa's Bar, serve up authentic Madeiran cuisine in a casual setting. For a comfortable stay, the nearby Terra Batista House provides cosy accommodations with stunning sea views, a sun terrace, and modern amenities.

The property is easily accessible by car, but part of the access is exclusively pedestrian.

Madeira Airport is a 16-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 4 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
