"Great location situated between Cutler and Machias, with beautiful vista from the porch. Shopping, restaurants and amazing hiking trails within 10-20 minute drives. We had perfect weather for our stay and enjoyed morning coffee on the porch watching the lobster boats. The house is as described and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our 6 night stay, although we found the mattresses to be pretty uncomfortable. We only cooked breakfast, but there was a good array of pots, pans, and dishes,...

"We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning."

"If you are not a morning person, a stay at Lubec Cottage will make you one. Waking up to the sunrise outside the french doors of the master bedroom is just stunning! "Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

"Excellent cottage for families. The location was perfect and was very quiet. We had awesome views of sunrises and sunsets. Everything we needed to make our stay memorable was at hand. The beach was easily accessible. We found a lot of treasures. "
