"Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. Charlie delivered lobsters every other day, and at $5/lb we certainly over indulged! The house is older, and has a ton...

There is a rocky beach literally across the road. The master bedroom faces the water, so it is a nice way to wake up, with the sunrise coming in. "Mid June was lush, everything was green and many flowers in bloom, just lovely. Lots of hiking, birding, some kayaking and Campobello. Had some fog but headed inland a couple days and found clear skies. The cottage is inviting & clean and the studio is inspiring - my husband paints in there. A nice surprise to find the wonderful veggies and greens from Far Out Farms in the fridge. Had a great time and already booked for next year. "

"Really cute, very clean cottage in a great location. Perfect for our stay. Loved walking down to the water at low tide and sitting on the deck at sunset. We would definitely come back here again! Contacted the owner once with a question and she responded very promptly. Excellent stay."

"We were the first guests and cant wait to return. Absolutely great stay at a comfortable cabin on the water. The cabin had everything you could need for a quiet and relaxing stay. Easy drive into Lubec and close to Campobello Island. Great communication with Bob and Sandy. Made for a very memorable vacation. "

"Very nice cottage , and clean. the Picture on your site, makes the Cottage look like it was right on the beach , which it is not. Its on a cliff, which was fine for us , but not fine for children. This is why We took 1 star away from the on line listing"

"This house has it all and more, from a pancake griddle and ice cream scoop, to plenty of tissues and toilet paper, to puzzles and marshmallow roasting sticks, to all items needed for cooking lobster and other meals. It had everything we could possibly have needed. The property manager was very responsive when we discovered that the disposal wasn’t working and got it fixed within a day. "

"We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin."

"Firstly Kelly the property manager was amazing when I had a problem with my credit card. Second, the house was very clean! The house was just right for us. Cozy and has good vibes:) yard for the kids and hammock were lovely and can’t beat the kitchen view. Location is close to Quoddy light and lubec center and groceries. All you need is within 10 min. We would happily stay in this sweet little house again."
