"Upon arrival we found dead bugs on the inside of the cottage likely from windows being left open. Septic tank was beyond full which meant the toilets backed up/flooded and flooded into the shower. Owner had a septic guy come out to empty the tank but the pipes must've been so far gone because of the full septic tank that the issues continued even after the septic tank was empty. "What an amazing cottage and location. Our host was responsive and helpful and they provide an incredible amount of amenities that make your stay ever more comfortable. "Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. "

"The property is stunning. The dock onto the river is breath taking. Bit steep if you dont have great mobility, but was perfect for us. Beds were both queen size and comfy. The futon was not the most comfortable but perfect for lying on and enjoying the fireplace. Kitchen was fully stocked and had a drinking water spout. Host was extremely kind and responsive when needed. My partner and I had an amazing experience here and looking forward to coming again."

"This double yurt is in a private area of the farm that is accessible by car and has plenty of space inside to spread out and relax. The Finnish sauna by the pond is a must and the shower by the farmhouse, a short walk away, is a great addition. There is a BBQ for cooking but we did use our own little camp stove for morning coffee and toast. A great back to nature experience with a view across the fields. "
