A vacation not by the water, but on the water. The houseboat is securely moored in the marina at a wide, easily accessible dock and is not navigated.

Environmental sustainability:

We strive to use resources responsibly to minimize our environmental impact.
Even though the boat is moored in the marina, it has no permanent connections such as sewer or water lines. It is still a boat.

We do not discharge wastewater into the water.
We have 800-liter tanks for fresh water and wastewater. However, these will eventually fill up or run out. It is not possible to empty or refill them in between.

Therefore, we ask all guests to use these resources sparingly.

There are also restroom facilities with toilets and hot-water showers at the marina, just a 2-minute walk away.
It is up to each individual to decide whether to use them.

Good to know:

• The boat and access to it are not wheelchair accessible. Access from the parking lot and restroom building to the boat is via a solid, wide gangway with a moderate incline.
Access to the sun deck is via a staircase.

• Living on the boat does require a certain level of mobility and fitness to carry out various tasks and activities. This includes, in particular, securing equipment in bad weather conditions (strong winds, rain...) as well as covering the outdoor furniture.
