"Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. "The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us."

Having the added bonus of the spa pass made the weekend extra special. The owners are particularly excellent and quick to respond with any of our questions. All good - highly recommended.
