Quiet, cozy, property located far enough, but close enough to downtown Wisconsin Dells! Just four miles! Cabin theme mobile home with a huge front yard, enclosed by trees, to ensure a quiet getaway! Comfortably sleeps 6 people. We provide the comforts of home with towels, bedding/sheets, dishes, laundry essentials, coffee (keurig and traditional maker) etc. Plenty of space for outdoor activities. Long driveway allowing 4 vehicles for parking. Only guests on reservation allowed in the home.
Plenty of space to relax on a large deck, by the campfire pit, or pitch a tent in the large yard!
It's just a minutes drive to all the fun of Wisconsin Dells...

The cabin/trailer home is set back away from the Dells. The cabin is just as described. The mosquitoes were bad right at dusk but the owner did her best to help. She provided a candle and bug spray. She was very responsive when I ask any questions from which is the best parks and best restaurants. We like to sit out by the fire and listen to music and unwind at the end of the day. You don't have to worry about neighbors and can cook your own food.. I would definitely stay there again.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family and fur baby! We have 18 and 15 year old boys and a Shih-tzu. This is a clean, family friendly home that is conveniently located to local attractions but makes you feel like you're camping away from civilization. We definitely recommend this spot! We had a blast!

My family and I enjoyed our time at this wonderful, well-kept property. While it was located away from the hustle and bustle of the Dells, the location is just minutes away, which allowed us minimal travel time to enjoy all the activities at the Dells. Although we did not cook any food, the home was clean and provided all the amenities needed if you wanted to cook your own meals. I have never slept in a bed away from home, where the sheets and pillowcases were so clean and fresh with a very pleasant aromatic scent! The hostess was very pleasant to communicate with, and even though we did not need to contact her to request anything, whenever I reached out to her, she was readily responsive. If you want a quiet, serene environment to relax in, this spot is ideal! I just wish I had more time to enjoy nature!

Good location from the Dells

I actually did not realize it was a trailer ? All in all the stay was nice as it was in close proximity to our ultimate destination. The trailer had a bit of a bug problem. Lots of daddy long leg spiders and ants. Listing said a queen size bed ? If it was a queen it was the smallest queen available. My wife and i had to sleep seperate because the bed was so small ! Bigger night stands would be a plus. Ample comfortable seating in the living room which was nice. No dishwasher or disposal was a negative. Pet friendly was nice and a big yard for them as well.

Peaceful & cozy

Our family had a nice stay at Charlieā€™s Woodside Getaway in June 2025. Itā€™s close enough to all the action in Wisconsin Dells, but wonderfully secluded and serene. Everything about our stay was seamless, from booking to check-in, communicating with the property owner, and checkout. The cabin is well appointed and adorable. Things to celebrate:- sink into the cozy, reclining sofas after a busy day!- an upgraded Keurig with both brew a pot and k-cup options (now my husband wants one for us!)- very clean & a/c was a crisp 68 degrees - everything needed for a comfortable stay, even dog bowls!- broom & vacuum in the primary closet, which I appreciated after tracking tree debris inside- firm mattresses with impressively made beds- bedside tables in primary have outlets AND usb ports. Bedside lamps have regular USB ports and usb-c. No need for the extension cords and charging cubes! Iā€™m pretty sure the bedside tables in bedroom 2 were the same but I canā€™t recall the lamps. Either way, thereā€™s plenty of charging options available - beautiful, serene surroundings- large yard for outdoor fun & games- super easy to find Things to consider:- be careful stepping out of the tub! Itā€™s a bit of a step down and more than one of us nearly fell while the rest of us laughed. - insect repellent. We packed some and I was surprised at how absent the bugs were, but reviews of nearby outdoor activities mentioned mosquito overload, so theyā€™re coming at some point!

WORTH EVERY CENT

Charlieā€™s Woodside Cabin was BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AFFORDABLE, and overall a great home to stay in. The host was amazing and was on top of having everything ready for us! I would recommend this to anyone traveling up to the DELLS area, the area was great and not far from anything, I also loved how secluded the area was. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Loved the property!

We loved our stay here! The host was so accommodating and the property was so clean and well kept. Our dogs loved the big yard and we enjoyed the fire pit as well as the property being a bit out of town so youā€™re able to enjoy some quiet and calmness away from how busy the Dells can be! Spring break 2025

The property was set aside in a quiet little neighborhood in the woods.. The house was very clean and fully stocked. We loved being able to relax and have a bonfire at night but yet also be close to the dells and go in just 10 minutesā€¦ I truly loved the way the home was decorated . The only thing I would suggest is I like to make sure I clean up fully before I leaveā€¦ so I would recommend having a few more cleaning products as my 2 year old sometimes leaves little hand prints behind so I like to clean the windows and Lysol down counters just cause I have kids so I am always on top of this.. we will definitely be back next time we stay in the dells it was such a joy for our familyā€¦ thanks again the fritz family

Amazing owners!

We spent couple days in this little cabin, everything was great-location-super close to everything.Cabin is located on large property, so quiet despite close to highway...and no train hearing at all!Inside is very clean and spacious!We had amazing communications with owner- on our last day of leaving- big storm was coming and we decided to stay one more day-owner responded right away-with no problem!100% recommend this property and owner.We will be back..

The location is easy to find and among beautiful trees. The kitchen and living room have very nice furniture. The gas stove is very nice. Parking is very convenient. There are plenty of parks and hiking areas as well as shopping not far away. The bathroom linens were very nice and the hand held shower head was appreciated. The bedding is very cheap. The kitchen has some nice items but overall, not well equipped. There were not enough coffee pods provided. The walls inside are like cardboard. The traffic is loud from the road and the train runs at night with the whistle blowing. Hard to sleep because of the noise. Basically, this is a mobile home. What can be done to help this listing? Put ceiling fans in the bedrooms and add a free standing fan to each bedroom. Get some bed linens which are cotton without synthetic content. Make sure people know that there is noise. Spray around the outside of doors and windows for bugs - as these were overwhelming inside. I do not believe this property is worth the price we paid. We will not stay here again.

Very great and cozy gateway cabin.We originally from Chicago, and were looking for some cozy places to spend our weekend.We came across this cute cabin and didnā€™t regret.It was clean ,nice and moreover-located in a peaceful neighborhood!

This place was clean and plenty of room. The yard was great and big for the dogs to run around and give them room to do there thing.. plenty of lighting outside at night and it is in a very quiet area and very peaceful. Ever go to the Dells again would stay here. Was able to get a hold of owner if need be and everything on Vrbo and emails and the on premises guide book was explained thoroughly

We had a great time here! Itā€™s the perfect location for being out of town a little to relax, but close enough to go to dinner, shopping, etc. the place was very clean and the host is extremely timely with responding! Would stay here again and recommend it!

Weekend getaway

We ended up staying at this wonderful place for the weekend. We brought our dogs and it was a wonderful place! Comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and very dog friendly. Great location and comfortable. Highly recommend and we will be staying again!

Family Dells Visit

Nice woodsy stay just a few minutes from downtown of Wisconsin Dells. House was tidy with everything you need! I really enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the mornings! Only negative feedback is the plug in air fresheners, but I just unplugged them while we were there and plugged back in when we left. These did not bother the rest of my family at all, just a personal preference! I would 10/10 recommend staying here.
