Nestled on Southampton Road in Lymington, Built in the 1840`s The Blue House captivates with its charming blue brick exterior. The cosy lounge, well-appointed kitchen and secluded courtyard garden offer comfort and relaxation. Luxurious bedrooms promise restful nights. Its proximity to Lymington`s attractions - such as the quaint town centre, vibrant market and scenic coastline - ensures a memorable stay.

As you approach The Blue House, you can`t help but be captivated by its charming blue brick exterior. The striking colour stands out against the traditional architecture of Southampton Road in Lymington, making it a true gem in the neighbourhood.

As you step closer, the front door swings open directly from the pavement, welcoming you into the cosy lounge area.

Lounge

Wooden floorboards create a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by the three seater leather sofa and two armchairs.

Guests can relax and unwind in front of the 32` smart TV, or simply admire the decorative log burner (not for guest use) as a charming focal point. A sideboard and built-in shelves provide plenty of storage options. A dining area consisting of a wooden table with six chairs is perfect for enjoying a meal, or can be used as a workspace if required.

With windows overlooking the street, the lounge is flooded with natural light, creating a bright and airy ambiance for guests to enjoy.

Kitchen

The charming galley style kitchen is accessed from the lounge area. Wooden floorboards add a touch of warmth to the space, complementing a rustic Welsh dresser and exposed brick feature wall. The slate blue subway tiling adds a pop of colour to the room, while the wooden worktops provide ample space for meal preparation.

Equipped with modern amenities, the kitchen boasts a compact dishwasher, full-size fridge freezer, five ring gas hob, electric oven and coffee machine. A washing machine is available for your convenience.

Courtyard garden

Accessed through charming stained glass double doors from the kitchen, this secluded and fully enclosed outdoor space is the perfect spot for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the sun.

The majority is laid to patio, complete with a dining table and six chairs, ideal for enjoying a leisurely breakfast or hosting an intimate dinner party.

Surrounded by mature plants and trees, the Courtyard Garden offers a sense of privacy and serenity. Follow the pathway laid to gravel, adorned with stepping stones, and discover a peaceful retreat right in the heart of Lymington.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom is a luxurious retreat located on the first floor. The room features a king size bed with a beautiful white metal bed frame, flanked by two elegant bedside tables.

Gold walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by a decorative period fireplace that adds a touch of character to the space. Two built-in wardrobes provide ample storage for your belongings, while a vanity table with a stool and oval mirror offers a stylish spot to get ready for the day.

The room is flooded with natural light from the sash windows, which offer lovely views overlooking the bustling street below. And for your convenience, a hairdryer is provided for your use during your stay.

Family bathroom

The focal point of the family bathroom is the striking freestanding bath tub, perfect for a long soak after a day of exploring the charming town of Lymington. An overhead rainfall shower provides a refreshing and invigorating experience, while the exposed brick feature wall adds character to the space.

Wooden flooring adds warmth and sophistication, complementing the modern WC, basin, and wall-mounted mirror. Keep your towels warm and fluffy with the convenient heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2

As you ascend the stairs to the third floor and enter the second bedroom, you will be greeted by a dove grey upholstered double bed, perfect for a restful night`s sleep. Bedroom 3

Located across the hallway from bedroom 2. As you enter bedroom 3, you will be greeted by the elegant wooden flooring and calming duck egg blue coloured walls that create a serene atmosphere. The vaulted ceiling adds a touch of grandeur to the room, while the royal blue upholstered double bed invites you to relax in style.

An exposed brick wall and architectural skylight add character and charm to the space, creating a unique and inviting environment. Double glazed windows overlook the bustling street below, allowing you to take in the sights and sounds of Lymington from the privacy of your own room.

When you arrive, you can pull onto the pavement outside the house to unload your belongings. There is no on-site parking, but free street parking is available on the road directly behind the property. Additionally, a small car park is located 50 metres away at St Thomas Car Park.

Please note that upon confirming your booking, we kindly request all guests to complete a pre-check-in form as part of our security process. This helps ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone during your stay.

- Please also note that if you are bringing a pet, that the fee is £40 per pet per stay for a maximum of 1. Pet is limited to hard floor areas and not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms. Kindly message us first as bringing a pet is subject to approval.
- We please ask all guests to respect our neighbours. Quiet hours operate from 11pm to 8am.
- Guests must manage waste as per the property manual, with a potential fee for non-compliance.
