This writer's retreat was once home to guitar maker and author, R. O. Barton (The Tucker Novels).

Leverage this fully furnished home as your seasonal escape to the country, your home between homes, or as your rural office complete with high speed broadband internet. What a treasure! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Even though we were only there one night, the appointments and amenities made it feel like home, but a step up. More than enough of anything we could need, and a quality that was truly inviting. The descent to the creek was steeper than we expected, but was still enjoyed by all. We are already looking forward to returning in the future for a longer stay!

The cottage was incredibly clean and well-appointed, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort. From the cozy decor to the fully stocked kitchen.One of the standout features was the beautiful creek running through the property, adding a peaceful and calming atmosphere to the entire stay. The host was exceptionalā€”responsive, communicative, and genuinely attentive to our needs. It was clear they put a lot of effort into making sure guests felt welcome.A lovely surprise was the thoughtful addition of snacks and drinks upon our arrival. After a long car ride, it was such a welcome sight.Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

The place was really nice. Itā€™s a bit remote, which is why I gave the location 3.stars. But it was just what I was looking for. The master bathroom was huge, and really nice. it even had a urinal, which I really appreciated. The creek was nice too. It was just what I was looking for.

Stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather so we could sit outside and enough the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The cottage was well appointed with everything you needed for cooking and bed linen was of high quality. Close to Leipers Fork which is worth a visit. We'd stay here again if we're ever in the area.

This is a great place to enjoy some ā€œunpluggedā€ time. Rural setting is breathtaking! The sound of the rolling creek is relaxing. The quiet atmosphere is a much needed break. If you just want some R&R, I recommend. We already want to come back!!

Very nice stay in an out of the way location. We enjoyed the view from the wall to wall windows of the creek. Our granddaughter enjoyed the fire pit. Well appointed stay with a few small (good) surprises.

This is a lovely cottage and, had it not been so cold, it would have been a perfect location for our family Thanksgiving. I was disappointed to learn that what looked like a roaring fire in the photos was candles burning in the fireplace, but Nathan was kind enough to stop by with space heaters and we warmed up well enough. It was a quick drive off I-840 with a bit of a rough driveway, but the house was worth it.

Great place. Yet, best place we ever stayed through Vrbo. Clean, secluded. All toiletries, snacks, coffee providedā€¦ā€¦I did not agreed with all the requirements before check out. I believe the cleaneg fee should be enough to take out trachea/ load dishwasher, yams all other things required.

Foreverwater was definitely a relaxing and peaceful stay. It was a very clean property, very welcoming, fully stocked with everything you could need, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, etc. A must stay and unique experience. Thank you for an amazing and restful stay.
