Schreiner Farms, a free drive-through exotic animal park, is just down the road and makes for an easy, memorable outing for families or groups traveling with kids.

The Home

The gourmet kitchen is built for cooking at scale — a double oven and a large island handle everything from a quiet breakfast to a full group dinner. The upstairs living room with a work desk, free WiFi, and cable TV is the natural gathering spot for a family movie night or quiet evening in. A dedicated game room with a ping-pong table adds another option for groups who want to spread out across multiple spaces. Heated floors run through the home, adding comfort that's especially appreciated during the cooler months in the Gorge. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays.

The new ownership team is investing significantly in landscaping, maintenance, and upgrades — work that is ongoing and will continue through the coming seasons. Some areas of the grounds are still being developed, and guests may notice deferred maintenance items such as landscaping that is a work in progress. The bones of this property — the scale, the vineyard setting, the river views, the indoor pool, the heated floors, and the space for a large group — are exceptional. The finishing work is catching up to match. Guests booking this summer are getting a genuinely rare property at a price that reflects where it is in that process, not where it's headed. The Setting

The lodge sits in a genuinely secluded riverfront location near the Columbia River, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyard land, and Gorge scenery. A mini-mart about a quarter mile up the road covers basic groceries and essentials. The highway intersection leading to the nearest river crossing is about a mile and a half east, keeping Hood River's wineries, breweries, and dining within easy reach.

This property has exterior security cameras facing the driveway. Occupancy limits are strictly enforced — please book according to your actual group size. The property does not allow pets. Guests must be 27 or older to book.
