"If you are looking to stay in a traditional English Pub, this is the place. Cozy rooms with great washroom facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds. Rooms are equipped with electricity outlets, wifi and tv for those needing it. The pub itself is fantastic with a very well stocked bar. The restaurant serves home cooked meals with a great selection of local produce. From this location you are pretty central to either coast and Dartmoor itself. "Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Gorgeous view. Food was good too and I appreciated the breakfast hamper although some might prefer a hot breakfast. Only minor annoyance was hearing lots of kitchen noise when I was trying to get an early night. But I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to get up to ask anyone to be quiet! Overall I would go back. The staff were all lovely and helpful and found me safe overnight storage for my bike. "

"We were visiting family in Lifton ,Launceston and the surrounding area and had not visited this guest house before,but will certainly go back again.
The house is spotless and beautifully maintained and breakfast is straight forward and well presented a great way to start the day.
