Great find
What a great find - really lovely, small house with just a few, very well appointed rooms. Free use of a well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room, all only used by the guests. Host was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Could not fault it, great value and very easy access to the M1.

A nicely-converted property to separate apartments
A great place to stay if you avoid chains of similar properties. Very well converted by the owner who also greets you with a small breakfast included to set you off in the morning.

A good breakfast
A very nice place to stay. A cold buffet breakfast is included in the price but it was well worth the extra for the “full English” breakfast.

Late check in and early check out so didn't spend much time there. Only spoke to the owners on the phone as they were out but seemed nice. Local area was pleasant. The hotel is on a main road so there was traffic noise all night which wasn't great.

Disappointing
The room was simple but fine and the bed was at least very comfortable however the bathroom was not particularly clean and we only had one towel and one mug provided. Breakfast was very disappointing...help yourself to basic cereal and toast with jam,which ordinarily would be fine, however the bread was out of date and growing mold. Having booked us and friends a room each I felt I had let them down with my choice.

Ok for one night just to sleep!
Stayed here for one night as was working in the area for the weekend. Room was into the eaves so little head room. Wifi password incorrect also so no wifi. Bathrp really dated, tiled freezing cold floor, very old taps with limescale build up. Walls paper thin so bit awkward having to keep voices down, TV quiet etc. Breakfast was help yourself to cereals and make your own toast and coffee which was ok for us. Little pub down the road perfectly pleasant but like a house with a bar! Food great and ales great. Wouldn't stay again only stayed as Jasmine House B&B fully booked!

The owner was very friendly and acted as a taxi service on getting me back to Lutterworth from another location when the local taxis were unavailable. If you show your key, you get a discount at the local pub which does good food.

Quite, cosy and comfortable
I had originally booked to stay in a larger hotel but cancelled that booking to stay at Little Lodge as it was cheaper. I am glad that I did as the hotel was quite, cosy and comfortable. The owner was friendly and did what he could to make my stay enjoyable. Well worth the stay!

Exactly as described and great value for money, parking is fine and has cctv. Be aware the location is a little remote but there is a pub 200 yards away

A really unpleasant stay
I travel more than 200 days every year and this is the first stay I had where I was chocked. I arrived at the place around midnight as my plane didn't get in before and I had to drive there. The owner did not want to let me in because he thought that it was very late. I told him that it didn't say any where when I booked that I had to be there between some hours and I had also prepaid the room. He did not care and was very nice towards me. I was really surprised by this behavior. In the end he did let me anyway, but if there where other places to go at that time and if I did not pay before I arrived I would for sure have left right away!

Welcoming and exactly what was needed
Exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms with tremendously welcoming owner and even a jacuzzi in the back garden if you want it. Breakfast is cereal unless you want cooked which is +£7. Would certainly use again

Happy with light breakfast
Although previous reviewers seemed disappointed that cooked breakfast involved an extra charge,I feel it is unfair as many people only want a light breakfast of cereal and toast. Can hotels.com avoid this in future by clarifying LIGHT breakfast in the details so customers don't feel misled?

Pretty cosy
The room was well-presented but the bed was very hard and a bit lumpy. It was very clean. The shower was excellent but the bathroom decor was faded. The hot tub was beautiful! Breakfast was charged as extra if you wanted it cooked, and the free option was just cereals. The cooked breakfast was lovely.

Simple clean pleasant room
this was a one nighter for business. A very simple but pleasant and clean single room with the option of a full English breakfast. Owner was very nice and helpful. It had wifi which was essential for me and free parking, which was a plus. I would stay here again.

Convenient and quiet
Absolutely fine for a one night stay after a wedding. Nice breakfast. Double en suite was fairly big for a b and b and parking spaces were easy. Friendly host. Garden was a nice touch. Minor blip re payment but this was down to Expedia!

Pleasant room, with shower ensuite. I've taken one off for the neighbourhood as there's nowhere to eat nearby, you need to drive into Lutterworth, but the garden of the B&B itself is a nice little area to sit in it it's sunny. I also taken one off on the service side for, although Tom is lovely and friendly, on Hotels.com it sells Little Lodge as including breakfast, as it is selling the single room at £39 instead of £45. However, when you get there you are told breakfast isnt included. This is because you've only paid £39. However, Hotels.com say you are getting a special offer at £39, a saving on the proper price for B&B of £45. This actually needs to be sorted out as it is against the Trades Description Act. Either you are paying £39 for a room that doesnt included breakfast, and it's not the reduction shown on Hotels.com, or you are being given the £6 reduction in which case breakfast should be included. I have emailed the owner about this, but with no response. It's a shame as it's a pleasant stopover.

Très bien reçu . Vu mon emploi du temps, j'ai le privilège de pouvoir prendre le Breakfast à 7h10 au lieu de7h30 ( heure habiltuelle ). La proximité de la route et la médiocre isolation phonique de la fenêtre m'a fait un peu peur pour dormir mais vu la fatigue, ça n'a pas posé de problème . La propreté de la timbale à dents laissait à désirer .A part ça, tout était ok . Bon rapport qualité/prix

Fair price and good for a short stay
we just stayed for one night and were very happy with our choice. everything was uncomplicated and we would stay there again if we will come to this area.

Lovely friendly B&B
As a single woman travelling for work I felt very safe. The owner was friendly and helpful. Had single room in the attic which had a velux window in both the bedroom and en suite, which was ideal on a hot evening, as I could get a good flow of air through. Nice to be able to sit out in the garden on a warm summer's evening, and particularly enjoyed an hour spent in the hot tub with a glass of wine. I have scored it less for location only because the pub in the village is closed so there's nowhere within walking distance to eat out.
