Maximum Occupancy is 10 people.

26 Acres of Meadow & Forest. Connect with Nature at the Fish Pond & Nature Trails. See Wildflowers, Birds, Rabbits, Deer, & Other Wildlife. Enjoy the Bonfire Pit, Barbecue Grill, & Picnic Table.

View of Skyline Drive, 10 Miles (15 Min.) to Shenandoah National Park Thornton Gap Entrance, 5 Miles (10 Min.) to Luray Caverns, 3.5 Miles (5 Min.) to Downtown Luray.

Local Attractions Include: Skyline Drive (Open 24 Hours A Day / 7 Days A Week Except During Inclement Weather), The Shenandoah River (Canoes, Kayaks, Tubes, & Rafts), Luray Caverns, Luray Valley Museum, Car & Carriage Museum, Garden Maze, Singing Tower, Page Valley Bike Races, Civil War Reenactments, Luray Triathlon, The Warehouse Art Gallery, Performing Arts of Luray, Heritage Festival, Festival of Spring, Cooters, Several Local Vineyards, Golf Resorts, Ski Resorts, & Local Spas.

Guests are responsible for Page County Lodging Tax (5%) after booking. Our team keep the house & property extremely clean. We visited in October and the leaves and valley were beautiful with vibrant colors as far as the eye could see!The home was perfect to serve as a launching point to visit Monticello, explore Skyline drive and relax away from the busy city. The hot tub on the back porch was a highlight as we soaked in the evening looking over the valley. Beds were comfortable and allowed us to recover from daily activities. Highly recommend and will stay again someday!

House description and photos are accurate and Eileen is a nice host. We enjoyed the walking trails and feeding the horse, the view, and proximity to Luray Cavern and wineries. WIFI is really slow and TVs are older so you’ll need a fire stick or similar and patience with streaming delays.

Rented for our son’s civil ceremony, it was the perfect home base to have as we spent time in Luray and hiked Shenendoah. The host was incredibly gracious. She even came out and mowed the yard so we could have pictures out there!

Wonderful experience

Eileen is an excellent host! She answered our questions that we had even before we arrived. I’ve stayed in many VRBO homes and this was one of the cleanest! It was nice to have bath towels, sheets and even hot tub towels provided. Paper towels, tissues and TP too! Eileen provided great information about the area, she had an entire booklet of places to visit and eat. My grandson and the rest of us too enjoyed the horse, Rabbit, and the chickens and rooster on the property . We were even able to purchase eggs to eat during are visit and take some home. There are trails to explore, one with a swing to view the spectacular sunsets. For anyone that wants to visit the Shenandoah and Luray area this is the place to be. Thank you Eileen.

Great place for two families with small kids!

The listing was very accurate. We were two families with 5 small children between us including two infants. In case this is helpful to anyone else - The layout of the rooms was really conducive to this - there were two bedrooms with en suites and each had a next door bedroom with blackout curtains for kids. Both masters have walk in closets that are ventilated and were where we put pack'n'plays so no need for a slumberpod/blackout curtains for baby if you room in. One thing to note though there are no outlets in the walk ins so if your monitor/sound machines don't have long cords consider an extension. Great location, lots of room for kids to roam, easy drive to a ton of activities. We had a blast!

Fabulous stay!

Skyline Meadow is the best VRBO we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many! Location is serene and gorgeous; yet, convenient to Luray restaurants, caverns, and Shenandoah National Park (Thornton Gap entrance). Eileen is an incredible, thoughtful, and responsive host and she provides everything you could need during your stay. She sells fresh eggs from her chickens and she even made me a baby aloe plant! Highly recommend and we will be back!

A great way to start the new year!

My family and I stayed at Skyline Meadow for New Years weekend. Eileen is a gracious host and was easy to contact throughout our trip when we had questions or concerns. The home itself was beautiful and more spacious than we anticipated. Our family members had plenty of space to themselves and to gather together for meals and activities. The home was also equipped with everything a large family would need for weekend retreat. We took a short drive into Luray and Massanutten for daytime activities and spent our nights grilling by the campfire. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we hope to return soon for another relaxing family weekend!

Weekend wedding

2 families with children aged 3-12, in town for a family wedding. This house is very clean, organized and well maintained. There is space, a lot of space which was so nice to have in such a beautiful setting. The land, views, rabbit the horse and everything about our stay was perfect. Everything you need and more!

Perfect Cousins weekend! We were a group of 5 cousins who had not seen each other in 5 years and had a little reunion. Eileen was a great host and had everything we needed for our stay. The property was very well kept, we enjoyed the Mountain View’s of the Sunrise and Sunset and also the hot tub under the stars! It was so nice to stay at a VRBO and not have to bring all the necessities like coffee, sugar and everything else! Eileen even came up to the house and took a group shot of us before we left!

Beautiful property for a relaxing stay!

We are from CA and were traveling to DC to visit our son who works there. After a few days in the city, we wanted to relax and enjoy the outdoors! This was the perfect spot for that. There were six of us in total, parents and four sons aged 18-25. The house was large and had all the amenities that we needed. The hot tub was welcoming after a long day hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. The washer/dryer helped when we got wet canoeing on the Shenandoah River and a bit dusty from Luray Caverns. We enjoyed visiting the chicken coop and feeding Rabbit the horse some carrots. The property is large and has walking paths through some beautiful trees that really make you feel you are far from civilization. But the town of Luray is just a few miles away. There is a Walmart that's a 10 minute drive where you can get groceries and just about anything you would need. Hawksbill Trading Company is a cute little shop with lots of local artisans selling their crafts and is just 5 minutes away. It's a beautiful part of VA and we all very much enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place

My husband and I took our three kids out to Luray for a quick weekend getaway. We had such a wonderful time at Skyline Meadow! The home was immaculate, comfortable and well-stocked, the view was breathtaking, and Eileen provides so many little extras to ensure a great stay. It’s always nice not to have to worry about towels or linens, but having complimentary k-cups, spices, paper goods, and toiletries provided was really above and beyond. The hot tub was lovely, and the kids really enjoyed the tree swing, the nature trails (so well-maintained that they were easy to walk, even in sandals) and interacting with the animals. The drive into town was quick and easy, with beautiful scenery along the way. Eileen is gracious, friendly, and communicative, and the property is truly beautiful. Would highly recommend this property!

Spacious Luxury in Beautiful Shenandoah Valley!

What a wonderful find! This was the perfect getaway for our family of five in Luray. Plenty of space for everyone, nice and clean, gorgeous scenery all the way around, and close to town and activities. We were within 30 minutes of Skyline Drive, horseback rides, and rafting, and less than 10 minutes from Luray Caverns and restaurants. Eileen was a wonderful host and a pleasure to meet. We’ll be back someday!

Perfect getaway

We had two families -- four adults and kids aged 7, 6, 4 and 3. Everyone loved their time at Skyline Meadow! The house was set up perfectly for our group (it's a great size for 2 families), complete with a huge backyard to roam around and play, comfortable rooms and gathering spaces inside the house, a gorgeous kitchen and an upstairs playroom with popular toys and books. Eileen answers questions quickly and made sure our every need was met. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway, had lots of fun doing activities in Luray and in the surrounding area, and are grateful that we had Skyline Meadow as a comfortable home base. Thanks again, Eileen!
