Joe was extremely courteous to come receive us during check in. The house is meticulously decorated and offers a lot ( more than what the pictures suggest). The deck is beautiful with interiors providing more than adequate amount of comfort. The location provides a calm, small town experience and is accessible to all attractions around in the are. Highly recommend staying here.

All the creature comforts of home. Donna greeted us at check in. Answered all our questions and gave us a tour of their cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the stars. The katydids were in full chorus throughout our stay.The entire cabin was clean, extra pillows &blankets, beach towels and anything we needed. The kitchen had beautiful cookware, adequate utensils, knives and dishes. A variety of herbs was available which is so nice to have at a VRBO. Everything was comfortable. Our schedule was full and we did not get to enjoy a canoe or kayak paddle about. We’ll save that for our next visit. Along with the outdoor fire pit and all the wood we could burn. (Which is an awesome perk)The host were very responsive, kind, and I wish we could have had a drink together!We will be back.

Amazing Stay

Joe and Donna’s lake home is beautiful with all the amenities and comfort’s of home. This is now my “happy place”! I especially enjoyed being able to use the canoe and kayaks and have unlimited access to the pond. We saw beaver, Canadian Geese and even a loon during on our stay. Joe and Donna are very responsive and full of tips on hiking and sightseeing in this beautiful countryside. I can’t wait to book my next stay!

My husband and I have stayed at many, many such places and this by far one of the best if not best we have experienced. Perfect in every way! So much thought has been given to the comfort of the guests. Fully equipped kitchen, towels, bed linens, great bathrooms, comfy living room, boxes of tissues, large outdoor deck with view of pond through the woods, access to the pond with kayaks. The hosts are incredibly helpful, friendly, responsive and accommodating! I would give them a 10 star rating if the scale went higher!

Joe and Donna were absolutely excellent hosts. Their cabin is amazing. My family and I loved every moment staying there and look forward to visiting again the next chance we can get. They had a ton of amenities (wifi, smart TVs, couches, beds, washer/dryer, full kitchen, amazing bathrooms and space) plus an awesome outdoor area with fire pit and easy access to the lake with floats and a trampoline pad. We highly recommend renting from Joe and Donna if you need a place in the area

AMAZING STAY @ NEAL POND

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joe and Donna’s beautiful home on Neal Pond. The home was as described. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were great, and the amenities were as listed, too. We loved the decor in the home, and loved the knotty pine walls and the huge deck. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Joe let us borrow a fishing pole, and even brought kindling up for us, that his son chopped, so we could have a fire pit. The property around the home and Neal Pond was absolutely breathtaking, too. This was our favorite place out of all the places we have rented on VRBO. We enjoyed meeting Joe and Donna’s family, too. They were very kind and easy to get along with. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again to Joe and Donna. You’re the best!

Donna and Joe were exceptional hosts. The cottage was very clean and included all of the necessary amenities. The property was beautiful and very spacious allowing our boys to have adequate room to play in the yard and for us to enjoy an evening campfire. The hosts went out of their way to set up the swimming area for my boys. We could have not stayed at a better Vrbo rental!!!! We will most certainly be back!

Eclipse 2024

Absolutely lovely stay at Beaverwood for the eclipse 2024. Check in was easy. Joe and Donna were nearby, which made for a lovely little eclipse mini-party at the lake. Home was well stocked with kitchen equipment and gear for the kids to play with (swing, and not in season for us, but snow shoes, kayaks, stuff to make s’mores, etc). Grocery store is about 15 minutes drive to Lancaster. We enjoyed walking to the lake and exploring the nearby woods. Listing was very accurate. Beds were comfortable. We loved it. Thanks Joe & Donna!

Great vacation

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week vacation at this property. The cabin is very clean and functional for our family of 4. The owners have provided everything you need to live comfortably, which made packing and shopping very simple. The owners are close enough to be helpful if you have a questions or need suggestions about the area, but were never intrusive. We enjoyed many great days on the pond, and many wonderful nights around the firepit. We are already looking forward to another year!

Amazing get away

This property is beautiful and although not lake front you get a glimpse of the lake through an opening in the trees. We enjoyed excellent fishing and beautiful nights kayaking and canoeing. Our host was awesome! Joe made us feel like we were at home. We went into Littleton and Lancaster for some fun. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful mornings and fishing off the dock. The cabin was super clean and spacious. The kitchen was awesome! We definitely recommend staying here. It’s very family friendly. 5 stars!

Easy living, good times.

Joe and Donna were wonderful & hospitable hosts over our long weekend, and even provided extra toys (which our children loved - apologies in advance if you find any Legos in the couch cushions) when I mentioned our little kids would be in tow. We felt right at home upon arrival and we're all sad we had to leave today. Hopefully, we'll return soon!

Natures Best!

Our family had a fantastic 4 night stay at Joseph and Donnas beautiful cabin. Come here if you are looking for a serene getaway. We explored all of the lake each day and got to catch some small Sunny’s, Perch, and bass. My five year old son wanted to fish everyday. We got to check out a beaver dam, and we also met a porcupine one night. The stars alone at night are worth the trip. The cabin itself was extremely clean. The pictures in the listing don’t do justice for what they offer. We hope to come back soon.

Very clean cabin and wonderful hosts

Beaverwood is a wonderfully designed and beautiful cabin that we truly enjoyed. The owners were nearby, and at first, we were concerned we would not have the privacy we needed. But both Joe and Donna were above and beyond in their graciousness and respect for our space. Others have mentioned that the pictures don't do justice to the beauty and cleanliness of the property, and it is true. The kitchen- actually the whole cabin- was stocked with so many thoughtful things for us to use and they seemed to think of everything possible to make our stay comfortable! It was a short walk to the pond (lake) and although we launched the kayaks from their dock, we did not feel as if we were intruding on their space either. When we asked about fishing, Joe so generously provided an electric Moter boat for us to use, and when we were concerned about the lack of cell phone service, we were immediately provided with a land line to use. We loved hearing the loons some of the time, and our stay was truly inspiring and restful. I must also mention, because it is so unusual for rentals, that the furniture was really great- very comfortable couches and chairs in the living room and we slept so well in the memory foam topped bed. So glad we discovered this wonderful place!

Beautiful place!

We had a great time. The house was clean and well taken care of. Great deck for relaxing and grilling, and our daughter loved making s'mores by the fire pit. Great lake, with plenty of kayaks and a canoe to use. We loved it, thank you!

Quiet pond for kayaking! Excellent, spacious but cozy, cabin!

We had an amazing time at Beaverwood Cabin! It was the perfect set-up for our family of four--two bedrooms, two bathrooms, three TVs! We appreciated all the smart design choices and spaces this cabin offered. It was really nice to have a huge open kitchen, several eating areas, lots of hooks to hang things, and an amazing deck to enjoy! The entryways and mudrooms were great to have. The bathrooms are beautiful, and overall, the pictures do not do it justice! We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, and swimming, especially at the sandbar. It was helpful to have good watershoes for those who don't love touching the silty bottom of the pond. Thanks, Joe and Donna, for opening up your beautiful cabin to renters! It suited us perfectly and we had a great time. Lou, Kristen, and the kids!
