"We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. Otherwise - would highly recommend! "

"Stunning views to Pendle Hill from our room, friendly staff and an excellent dinner and breakfast. This was a much-needed short getaway and, with a great day’s walking today during which we hardly saw soul, was everything we’d hoped for. We will return. "

"Host Debbie was very welcoming, the room was very clean and the bed linen very fresh. The room could do with a little TLC with a wonky toilet seat, shower door loose and the creeking floor boards that added character to the room. Hotel is located to easy access all Skipton amenities and surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel."

"This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. "Everything was absolutely great. We have travelled all over the world and we are now in our 70's. This must be in the top three or four we've have stayed in. Quality, value for money, pleasant staff. Wonderful stay"

"Hotel is in beautiful surroundings. The connecting pub next door was amazing and served a really nice breakfast in the morning . Staff were really helpful and overall really enjoyed our stay. Some parts in the rooms a little dated and worn (mainly in the bathroom) but rooms were spotless and beds were nice and comfy and had a great nights sleep. Would definitely stay again."

"The location on the canal and picturesque countryside made a beautiful setting for dining in the conservatory. The food was consistently very good, the staff friendly and I enjoyed using the pool. "

"It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again."
