"Beautiful property. We were initially drawn to this listing because they allowed pets, but after staying here, we came back a second time! It fits our family of three perfectly. The added touches of an outdoor couch and gas fired coffee table were awesome -- best seat in the house! Also, important for the traveling dogs - this property is fully fenced. "Sylvia and Don's cottage was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We loved the location: close to town, but a little out of the way and with access to the water. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the eagles swoop in and out of the trees and down to the water. The cottage is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. It's always a bonus to find places where our dog is also welcome! "

"Over all stay was great, couldn't beat the location and the view! The outdoor shower was a great addition:) Unfortunately the AC unit wasn't adequate for the upstairs bedrooms. "We were blown away when we entered this property! This home was beyond our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with our stay! From the tiny gnomes in the garden, the baby bunnies, the marvelous deck, the complete fenced yard, all the treasures from the beach, to the home itself was an incredible and an absolute beautiful dream! "Everything about the Cedar and Hemlock (our family stayed in both) suites was wonderful -close enough to Powell River, but located on the water, why leave? The suites have everything you would need -a well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, a great view of the Strait of Georgia and a beach bonfire site.
