During my stay I was called by Property Manager about “possible gas leak”. I gave permission for Manager to enter premises with the Gas Company. I waited for a return call to confirm all was well, but none was given. I called to make sure everything was okay, but no answer. The television(s) weren’t working in both bedrooms and living room, so we weren’t able to watch television during the entire stay. Thank you for allowing me to leave a review, and hopefully the next guests will have a better stay. Overall it was an “okay” experience..

Great Value!

The property was as advertised. All utilities work, there are plenty of personal supplies and eating utensils and you have access to your favorite streaming apps for downtime. Neighborhood is not fancy, but well kept. The owner provides some amenities like water and snacks. I will stay at this property again.

Clean amd tidy

House was very tidy and clean. The owner provided water bottles and snacks in the frig which was really nice. The backyard fence and the gate to the back deck need a little TLC. The only issue we had was the neighbor's dog barking. The dog barked non stop from 11 pm till 2 am. I am a dog lover and i was more concerned that the dog was left out all night and obviously neglected them I was with my lack of being able to go to sleep. I have no idea if this is a regular occurrence or not and I'm not sure what the host could have done about it. As I said the house was very clean and comfortable.

Very bad stay

I was in Lumberton to attend an oncologist appointment with my sister. This was the only house available, and I really wanted to take my dog. These are the reasons I gave the house such a low rating: Bad smell in the house. 2. 2 dogs barked nonstop from sundown to dawn. 3. Unable to get local channels on the tv. Asked twice for help to no avail. I have the app setup on my tv and still couldn’t get the local channels. 4.Bugs in living room and on kitchen counter. 5. Very uncomfortable living room couch and only 1 other chair to sit in. 6. No nightstands in bedroom. 7. Scary ceiling fan in the master. Decided not to use. Had to listen to the dogs bark all night. 8. Unusual noise coming from ceiling in the hall bathroom before bedtime. Many scratching noises coming from ceiling at dawn. Rented 2 but stayed 1 night. I asked for a full refund and told him I would let him handle the issues if he saw fit. He called me a Scammer and a “real piece of work”. And, even though we had such a bad experience, we still cleaned all dishes, we took out his trash, and we made sure my dog was cleaned up after in the backyard.

Cozy cottage in ideal locale!

Charming older home in a mature, quiet neighborhood. So convenient to restaurants, store, but not in thick of I95/301. Beds were very comfortable and William our host was very responsive throughout our booking. Small details missing like bedside tables, wastepaper bins, and mirrors in the bedrooms, but the bedding was comfortable with plenty of cozy blankets. Just the right size and centrally located for quick trips to the area.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Pembroke

The booking and check in process was very easy. The owner was very responsive and we enjoyed staying in this clean home. It was the perfect size for our party of four and it was close to Pembroke which made our visit easy to go see our family located there. The location was great and we enjoyed the outdoor patio since the weather was nice. Great little house to stay at!

Great stay

Found William easy to communicate with and everything in the listing to be accurate. All things in the house were nice, convenient and made me comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay and found lots of things in the area convenient as well small store at the end of the street for odds and ends, Pier 41 seafood close by; good food and a staple in the area for many years Great place to stay in Lumberton

Great Place to Stay with Dogs

We usually stop and stay at the Best Western in Lumberton because we have dogs. The place is not great. William’s house, though, was an awesome way for everyone to spend the night in Lumberton and have a bit of space to stretch out and roam. We didn’t get a chance to use the jacuzzi tub, but the main bathroom is probably just slightly smaller than a hotel room. Great space for a night to stay and I wish I would’ve looked for a place like William’s years ago to stop for a night.

Daughter-in-law's Birthday

My son lives near so I visit Lumberton frequently. This place is much more affordable and comfortable than a typical over-priced hotel with only one bathroom. The house is very clean with nice linens and towels. The master bathroom was perfect for my granddaughter and I to share, double sinks and plenty of outlets for our hair straighteners, hair dryers, etc.

Lovely renovated older home

Clean, comfy and well equipped overall. Nice quality linens and lots of nice hot water and good AC. Typically older community with close neighbors but all respectful.

Worth it!

Our stay was an overnight stay. We did not have time to use the jacuzzi that was in the master bath which we would have loved to have. Everything was very clean There was water and little smart bars in the refrigerator which was very nice. The manager was usually only about 5 minutes wait from a text. There were some issues but they were minimal and he took care of them right away. Would stay there again. It was a nice place to just stay the night or two if you have something going on in the area.

We enjoyed the cleanliness. We enjoyed the fenced in yard. Beds were comfortable. The neighbors were quiet mostly. If i am in the area I would stay again.

Cute House

The house is exactly like the pictures. The owner will bend over backwards to help please you and make your stay more comfortable. The house is located close to many good restaurants and close to the mall! Our only problem was the noise. If you live in a city this is something you would be used to. We live in the country. We have deer in our back yard. But did enjoy our stay and sorry we didn't book a longer stay. (Stayed 2 months)

Great location, easy access

I brought my mom to see her sisters. All of them are handicap now and cannot get around like they once could. This place was perfect. It is only two steps up to the porch and easy for someone with a walker to get around. The standup shower in the master bath has seating and worked really well for her. It also has a nice hot tub and the hot water in this place is no joke! Even though the tub fills a little slow, it is still warm and toasty when it is time to get in. The private back yard is awesome. Next time I come and bring my grand kids, they will have plenty of room to play. The owner is very responsive to questions, not only before the trip but also while I was staying there and even after I left. It was not until I got home, 6 hours later, that I realized I had left my jacket at the house. He replied almost immediately and helped my uncle get in to retrieve my coat. There a a great coffee station (my moms favorite) and a cute little "zoo" in the neighbors yard. They have what I believe to be a goose that will follow you up and down the side of the house like a puppy, and there are some other cute interesting critters over there, as well. A great place to stay if you have kids.

Convenient Cozy Home

Very cute, and comfortable.

The house was so cute. Just as explained. We had a great time. The host was very responsive. We got in at 2 a.m after a long drive. We went to put a few things in the fridge, and when we opened the door we saw 5 bottles of water there. We thought that was a nice touch!!! There were 5 of us staying there. It was thoughtful of the host to do that. Coffee and snacks were available on the counter in the kitchen. The deck in the back yard was nice to sit and enjoy that coffee. The jacuzzi tub was nice. Everything about it was cute, and nice. I would definitely recommend. 5 star all the way!
