The hotel could really use some upkeep. My room smelled like pure cigarette smoke, you can clearly see folks are smoking in the room by the cigarette burns on some of the furniture. The furniture is old and beat up, the telephone had a bunch of empty slots where the listing should have been ( front desk, housekeeping). There were stains on the walls and I honestly couldn’t tell you what they were.
And the BED…OMG.. never have I sat on a bed and the mattress sank in and I mean it literally sank in. I am 115 pounds and trust me my body weigh would have done nothing like that to a mattress. I literally had to sleep in the middle of the bed, when asked for a different room I was told there were no available rooms which was odd considering the parking lot was pretty empty at 7:30 pm. The carpet in the room had an odor which I’m assuming was due in part to the cigarette smoke odor, glad I travel with a large can of Lysol spray. While the pictures tell a different story on the website, I’d suggest you skip this hotel. It is in a good area for dining and shopping but it’s not worth the money.
