Montefiore has been totally restored a few years ago using traditional materials such as beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and maintaining an original pizza oven and barbecue outside the main entrance, thus keeping all the character of a typical Tuscan farmhouse. The result is a very comfortable country home furnished with all modern comforts, such as wi-fi, mosquito nets and air-conditioning in all bedrooms except a single one. A particular feature is the totally fenced swimming pool area, protected by a gate that can be closed for kids safety therefore ideal with families with childen and furthermore there is a comfortable gazebo with sofa and chairs. The pool is equipped with upstream swim.
Montefiore is an ideal location for clients looking to explore Tuscany region. The beautiful town of Lucca is at just 7 km away and the Versilia Coast is at 31 km away, Viareggio seaside resort.
Please note that the last few miles of the road leading to the property are quite curvy and pass through beautiful high antique stonewalls. Being the road quite narrow on some points, we recommend to those not familiar with this kind of country roads not to hire large vans.
