Wonderful Terraced Apartment

Perfect apartment for two! Beautiful terrace on the top floor. Great location. Across from the music conservatory so we could hear music drifting up during the day. Rainy weather when we were there unfortunately, but we will definitely be back during the better weather.

Small Things Could be Improved

It would be nice to have a mirror somewhere outside of the bathroom. It would also be nice if there is some type of organization of the keys it is confusing trying to get through all of the doors. The place is very comfortable and Alice, the property manager, was always very responsive and helpful. Location is great and the music school was a pleasant plus.

Perfect location to experience Lucca

The apartment is charming and tastefully decorated. Also very comfortable. We were there in November so we could not use the expansive porch, which I'm sure is a highlight in the summer. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. Heating and hot water worked very well for those chilly nights. Mrs. Sonia easy to work with and responsive. My only complaint is that the apartment did not supply what I consider the basics in a rental and I hope Mrs. Sonia will consider these points: every new guest should have clean, unused washing utensils for the kitchen, such as wipees and sponges to do dishes. A supply of garbage bags are basic as well. One other small item: Shower head in bathroom needs to be changed. Other than these small details, the apartment is great. To be able to live in a 16th c. restored villa, totally renovated is a real experience. And to walk the streets and walls of Lucca in November, with absolutely no tourists ANYWHERE, is a real treat. Highly recommend this apartment and Lucca in November.

An accident waiting to happen

There is a stupid step down from the bathroom,which is not clear to see and dangerous' My wife fell down it and was seriously injured My daughter in law` fell down it when she stayed here last year but she was only bruised.

Wonderful!

The apartment is lovely. Very nicely furnished, very cozy, clean and comefortable. Great bed. The patio is just gorgeous and nice to sit out in the evenings and to hear the music from across the street at the Conservatory was wonderful. The kitchen is well furnished. Lucca is a fantastic town, it has so much to offer. We walked on the wall every day, sometimes twice! The architecture is beautiful and the streets and shops are delightful. We wish we’d had longer here. Sonia was also most helpful, the whole experience has been wonderful.

Fantastic apartment in lovely Lucca

We loved staying in this apartment for our time in Lucca. The location is fantastic, we spent our first night sitting on our lovely terrace listening to music wafting up from the conservatory, whilst having a delicious platter we whipped together from the supermarket nearby and drinking prosecco! The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. Mrs Sonia was very helpful, meeting us at the apartment to let us in and give advice about the area and a few quirks of the apartment. I must also mention Chiara and Paolo who are part of Mrs Sonia's team who helped us out when we had a problem, that was quickly fixed. The only thing I would recommend would be another mirror out of the bathroom, so you can finish makeup/hair whilst the bathroom is being used, but that is just a minor thing, as we managed. We absolutely loved Lucca and hope to return one day.

great apartment and location. Beautiful terrace.

The apartment was really nice and we loved the terrace. It is a great location for exploring Lucca. The problem was receiving good information about parking which is not near the apartment and getting in touch with Mrs. Sonia when we arrived. Also, there was no soap in the bathroom and only one roll of toilet paper. I think that at least could have been provided. All the other VRBO properties provided basic ammenities.

Vistelsen i Lucca

Fantastisk stad och helt underbar lägenhet. Terassen var det absolut bästa och det centrala läget gjorde vistelsen perfekt. Lite knepigt med parkering men det fanns betalparkwring ganska nära och gratisparkering längre bort om (ca 15 min promenad)

Beautiful apartment, ideal location

We had a lovely time in Lucca. The apartment is very well-equipped, and Paulo was kind enough to bring us champagne flutes and a parasol so that we could enjoy the terrace during the day. The location is wonderful - very quiet, central, and yet accessible by car. There is plenty of kitchen equipment if you want to cook for yourself. And the lift is a real bonus!

Mitten im Herzen von Lucca mit einer wundervollen Dachterrasse

Die Lage und die Dachterrasse sind einfach phantastisch. Wir waren mit 2 Kindern in dem Appartement und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren mit 2 Kindern im Appartement und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

A little piece of heaven in a very busy city.

The apartment was lovely, living up to its description and photos. A few tweaks would make it perfect, a coffee table near the sofa in the lounge and a large mirror in the bedroom for those vain souls to get an overall impression of how they look! The lift is very small, taking two average sized people, not really for those who suffer from claustrophobia. The apartment is in an ideal position, far from the madding crowds, but early mornings and evenings are a delight with music wafting up from the music school. Within walking distance of everything. A great pizzeria round the corner, a well stocked supermarket close by and a great pasticceria. Sonia, who manages the apartment, always replied promptly to any questions we had, and very good to meet her when we eventually arrived. Thoroughly recommend

Lucca

Loved the apartment. Beautifully decorated. The outdoor patio was perfect. Right across the street from Music Conservatory. Almost every night we enjoyed a concert. Would recommend highly.

Very well appointed apartment in perfectly central location

This is a very well appointed apartment with a delightful private roof terrace in an equally delightful square opposite the music school - see photo (so we were serenaded by some exceptional musicians.) Its central location is perfect to explore Lucca, which is a gem of a town - we loved it. Do ask about lift/stairs arrangements, and both pressure and temperature of shower water somewhat unpredictable, but apartment beautiful. We definitely recommend and would be very happy to return/ re-book with Mrs. Sonia.
