Stroll down to the piazza's for a leisurely breakfast and soak up some of the culture and history of this unique city, before heading out to the scenic Lucca hills for an afternoon hike. For those more adventurous, the Garfagnana mountains beckon, an area of outstanding natural beauty and no more than 40 minutes drive away. During the summer, the beaches of Viareggio can be reached in approximately 30 minutes. Or simply chill out and spend the day strolling the historic walls and streets, or shopping in the Old Town, where you will find fantastic variety and value. In the evening, superb restaurants and bars can be found within 5-10 minutes walking distance, where the joys of Italian cuisine and wine await.
The 3rd floor apartment has been tastefully decorated, comes fully equipped for extended visits, including air-conditioning, central heating, wi-fi, all modern kitchen appliances and super comfy beds! Consisting of two floors, the upper level contains a master bedroom and bathroom, living area and the spacious main terrace. The lower level has three bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and dining area and a balcony/utility room. Parking, taxi and public bus services are all available within 150 metres of the property in Piazza Santa Maria. We have an extensive collection of DVD's and books to chill out with and pets are welcome.
