Characteristic flat in the heart of Lucca's historic centre, inside an ancient building located between Piazza Napoleone and Piazza San Michele.
Casa Elena is located on the 2nd floor and is very bright and cosy, furnished with great care and ideally located for visiting the heart of the city, just a few steps from the main squares, the splendid walls and the Cathedral of San Martino.

The flat is located on the second floor and is accessed through an entrance door shared with another flat, CASA ANNA (4+2 people), which can be rented together with CASA ELENA. It has a characteristic balcony overlooking an internal courtyard, equipped with a table and chairs (shared by the two flats).

Among the many events that enliven the city of Lucca, one of the most popular is undoubtedly the Summer Festival, held between June and July. The Casa Elena apartment is located on the corner of Piazza Napoleone, where some of the Festival concerts are held, allowing guests to enjoy evenings filled with music!

The small historical centre, surrounded by its beautiful walls, has a special charm which you will hardly find elsewhere.
Guests can enjoy a walk on the tree-lined walls, which are located just a few steps away from the apartment, which offer a privileged viewpoint of the city. From their 12m height guests can admire unique glimpses of the main monuments, belltowers, Palazzo Pfanner with its garden, Torre Guinigi with its holm oaks on top and the Botanical Gardens.
The historical centre is also worth a visit: Lucca is a beautiful art city, rich of beautiful churches, palazzi, squares and stunning sights. Piazza San Michele, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, San Martino Cathedral, Guinigi Tower and the shopping lane Via Fillungo are not to be missed. You can also discover old workshops, trattorias and excellent restaurants in its picturesque alleys.

The many events that revolve around the city make it an ideal destination all year round.
It is precisely in the unique setting of the walls that Murabilia is held in September and Verdemura in April, both gardening exhibition markets with flowers and plants of all kinds.
Other events worth noting are: “Lucca Comics and Games” for comic books enthusiasts, the lyric season in October and November, the religious and classic music concerts held in the city churches between April and June, the “Settembre Lucchese” with many cultural and folklore events, the Summer Festival in July and the market of antiques which takes place every 3rd weekend of a month in the alleys and squares of the city.

From Lucca you can make one-day trips to the most important art cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Pisa and Siena, visit picturesque medieval towns nestled in the countryside like Montecarlo, go to the seaside in Versilia or to Livorno, Castiglioncello and le Cinque Terre or organize bike trips or treks, following the tour of the Ville Lucchesi, which are located about 6 km from the city.
