"Fine stay."

"Bed was awful but the people who work there are extremely helpful and nice and the cooked breakfast was superb. Get a ev charger !!"

"Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Property is in need of some TLC, and could be an excellent venue. Gardens in need of de-weeding and some cutting back on trees, brambles etc."

"Very decent place to stay with comfortable rooms, welcoming and helpful people and a first class breakfast. I especially liked the vegetarian breakfast, the Motown music and jazz posters. Easy to find and good parking."

"Lovely breakfast. Very clean room. Hosts were personable and professional."

"I received a very warm greetings g when I arrived and was shown to my room, the room was very clean with a view of the train station which was amazing. I had dietary requirements and they were very happy to help. I really enjoyed it and will definitely return"

"This was our first time staying at an independent hotel and we were welcomed by a polite staff member. However, the conditions of the room and amenities of it could’ve been better such as the shower, the floor and walls. The shower was mouldy, the floor was very squeaky for both our room and neighbours making the noise doubled and the walls had no purpose whatsoever as they were so thin , hearing neighbours frequently. "Perfect staying with delicious food, staff are very friendly and helpful, 15 minutes walk to the beach, spacious parking"

"Acomodação muito confortável e de bom tamanho, farto café da manhã e o quarto é silencioso. O hotel é bastante afastado dos principais locais do distrito dos lagos, portanto considere mais de 1 hora de carro para chegar em locais como Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere e Levens Hall."

"Difficult for the hotel as there was a power cut for quite a few hours following the storm"

"Great hotel, staff were fantastic and really helpful. They even arranged for an early continental breakfast for us way before the usual breakfast time. I couldn’t praise them enough."
