"This was a great stay for 15 guys on a bachelors trip. The house was amazing, we fished on the dock, and it wasn’t far from the bridgewater plaza. The only thing was we had to buy our own paper towels and toilet paper. "

"The house and town are historic and cute. Swinging bridge within walking distance and leads into the town. 15 min drive from Natural Bridge. 30 min drive from Roanoke. "

"This property was perfectly situated just blocks away from the heart of downtown Lynchburg and the river/trails! It was decorated so cute with all the amenities needed for a cross country trip! We would definitely come back here!"

"The location is great for downtown entertainment. The unit was clean, instructions for check in and out easy, the owner very responsive. It is dog friendly and the sliding back door faces a walking area that is very convenient for taking the dogs out on walks without having to go around the building. Nice view of the river and hills!"

"Me and my sister had a great time. We had an easy check in and the room was great. Would come back again."

"We were section hiking the Appalachian Trail and this home’s proximity to the trail was ideal. "

"Our gang of 15 had a wonderful week at the Firefly Estate. The house is huge and very clean. We swam in the pool and the lake every day. Enjoyed the paddle board and kayak. Played lots of ping pong, grilled many dinners, enjoyed a outside fire, played games and ate together on the large dining table, appreciated the AC and fans in the house while it was 90 outside; had great communication with the host and our needs/requests were accomodated quickly. There was lots of space for those of us...

"This is one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at...the location was great for our needs, the cabin was very clean and cozy, they have all the amenities for staying in to grill and chill! Lovely views of the vineyards with mountains in the background, beautiful walking trails, a fishing pond stocked with plenty of bass and bream. The best part about it all is that you're completely secluded and surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back!"

"Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. The management team is responsive and delightful. A great place for a family vacation. "

"Second time staying at the property and will definitely consider staying again if we are in town. We had an issue with a strong storm blowing down part of the fence and the HVAC cutting out. The host was very fast to respond and both issues were completely corrected within 12 hours, even though it was Easter Sunday! House is clean, location is central to everything and communication was clear. Highly recocomend!"

"Kate and her husband were a pleasure to work with. We had a last minute request for an early checkin and they made it happen for us! The house was clean and well appointed with amenities. Will definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay! The bed was super comfortable! It was clean, cozy, really cute, and in a great location! I appreciated how many things were provided like silverware, soaps, even toothbrushes and oatmeal! That’s very thoughtful! Communication was great."
