"The house was in a quiet neighborhood. The scene from the back porch was very calming. Nice, on the water views. A great place if you need some quiet time away from people."

"Our stay at Ada’s Camp was very relaxing! Very close to Bath Creek that was right out front!! Dock was so nice and a swing by the river. Views out of the sunroom and master bedroom were breathtaking. Check in was quick and easy!! Cindy our host was available to answer questions of surrounding areas and places to visit and eat. We are planning another trip in the fall. The house has great history about it and the family. The decorations, pictures and antique furniture is something you don’t see...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was extremely comfortable for my husband, myself, and our dogs. The deck and dock were wonderful. Dolphins swam close by!!Little trouble with fruit flies and house flies, but once we moved the garbage away from the house; much much better!We can’t wait to go back. The owner was quick to respond, managing company, not so much. But, didn’t matter because the owner responded. "

"Very comfortable place! The host had a few snacks there and water..coffee...bathroom needs...they go beyond what is expected. Highly recommend!"

"Private, peaceful, super comfortable beds, had every thing we needed for our stay. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again. Our host responded instantly with a call when I had one question. "

"Came here to relax and take in the beautiful view! Cottage is just adorable and every spot has something to look at. Enjoyed time watching sunsets, tons of graceful jellyfish, birds, dolphin and the ever changing water. Even saw a bald eagle circling above. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. Spent a little time in Washington NC which was a cute and friendly little harbor. This is definitely a great place to unwind, decompress and really just chill. "

"The boathouse is the perfect getaway, especially if you want to explore the water! If you have a boat, bring it! The deck is great for early morning coffee and/or cocktail hour. It is positioned perfectly for viewing the river. There is absolute privacy at the boathouse. Our host was very attentive and provided all the information we needed for check-in and check-out. The interior is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need."

"For once a brochure did not do a property justice. Had six adults and three small children stay with plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, the dock very nice (about 4 feet of water toward the end), and the house itself just perfect. We will definitely return since the area was peaceful and just what we were looking for. We are going to miss our morning coffee on the back porch! "

"The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. "

"Wonderful stay with family. The fisherman in our family loved the ability to bring the boat and the use of the dock and amenities. Beautiful view and peaceful, private setting. I also loved all of the art and pottery pieces in the home. "

"Such a beautiful view from the front seating area. The RV was very clean, looked and smelled new! Our host was very attentive and took good care of our requests quickly. Definitely will stay again when I visit my family nearby. "
