"We stayed with a friend and her 4 year old - the folks running the farm were super friendly, and the 4 yo is still talking about how she misses Ben & Bob (the farm Collies). The cottage is on a working farm, and has been nicely restored, though it's clearly an old building, and I must have banged my head *every* time I went to load the fire in the kitchen!
It's a place with real character - the farm has cows, goats, chickens, and fish, and would be great for anyone with kids.

"What a fabulous lodge! Only booked it the day before - excellent price for 3 days.
Janet was a fantastic host, the lodge lived up to the description on the website. Spacious but cosy, very well equipped lodge, amazing views, lovely outdoor seating area."

"We had a lovely stay at Millside, the location was perfect. Great walks in the area and very easy to get into Keswick. We hired extra items, that were there when we arrived and the customer team was very quick to respond to an issue we had. Parking was good, but I wouldn't say there was space for two cars.
Would be good to have some bits in the kitchen like a set of scales and a rolling pin. But apart from that, we had everything we need and we will be back."

"We had a lovely stay here, perfect location for walks, pubs/restaurants, Keswick town. The cottage had everything we needed and more, loved the garden for our dog and very comfy bed."

"We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so...
