"The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. "The room was very clean and tidy! Staff are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing very filling! And the parking is very easy too access but when there are a few guests staying the car park can get very tight, overall really good and best bit its only 17 mins drive too Alton towers from there "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Little George! Geoff was super kind and helpful, showed us to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, lovely bathroom with a big shower (the included toiletries smelled amazing too!). Well stocked minibar, teas and coffees etc. WiFi was very good too, easy to connect and fast, which is needed in this area as mobile data signal can be a bit iffy. "Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. "Super friendly and helpful staff more than make up for any shortcomings at this place. Personally I found the wonkiness of the building rather endearing and there was plenty of free parking. No food at the hotel but a selection of options delivered through Deliveroo and other apps and cutlery and plates provided in each room. Decor is a bit dated but there are hot showers and beds are comfortable."
