Nestled on a peaceful working farm just outside the charming market town of Louth in Lincolnshire, The Granary offers a wonderfully rural setting with easy access to some of the county’s most picturesque landscapes. Louth, often called the “Capital of the Wolds,” is a lively and historic market town known for its Georgian streets, independent shops, artisan food producers, and welcoming cafés. Its magnificent St James’ Church, boasting the tallest parish spire in England, stands proudly over the town and is well worth exploring during your stay.

Set above the original 1870s stables, The Granary occupies the entire first floor of the old Coach House and blends modern comfort with unique historical charm. Originally built to store sacks of grain from the farm, it now offers exceptionally spacious accommodation for up to ten guests. The large open-plan living area is arranged into two seating areas and two dining spaces, making it ideal for gatherings. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable including all appliances to make life easier.

Two generous family bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements: a master room with a king-size bed, two singles, and an en-suite shower room, and a second bedroom with a super-king bed (convertible to twins) plus two singles. A family bathroom includes both a bath and a separate shower. Original features such as the grain winch and the 19th-century Coach House clock add distinctive character. With central heating, free Wi-Fi, linen, towels, and pets welcome.

The surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offer rolling hills, quiet lanes, and hidden valleys—perfect for walkers, cyclists, and families who enjoy the outdoors. Scenic footpaths begin close to the farm, while popular beauty spots such as Hubbard’s Hills provide ideal settings for picnics, gentle strolls, and summertime paddling.
