JDG is a fantastic family friendly holiday location with its own private swimming pool, set within immaculate gardens. The gardens and pool area are fully fenced and secure.
JDG is close to all amenities, including tennis, golf, a gym and spa, the beach, beach clubs and restaurants, yet it is secluded, tranquil and secure. There is an adjacent restaurant (Paixa) less than a 1 minute walk from the rear gate of JDG and the complex is also situated adjacent to the JDG Tennis Centre (additional charge applies). Free parking is available around the JDG complex.
JDG is less than a 5 minute walk from an extensive supermarket (Pingo Doce) and medical centre, and less than 10 minutes from the Royal and Ocean golf clubhouse (with Spikes Restaurant and Bar). Vale do Lobo Shopping complex is attached to the golf clubhouse. Car and bicycle hire (pedal and electric) is available from here (additional charge applies). The complex also houses a bank, a wine shop, several boutiques, a spa and gym, together with the coffee bar and restaurant.
A 15 minute stroll from JDG through the resort will take you to Vale do Lobo beach and the Praca (square). At the Praca, you will find a range of superb restaurants, beach clubs, coffee destinations and mini golf, along with regular outdoor family entertainment during the summer evenings. The beach incorporates the renowned Ria Formosa Nature Reserve leading to the popular Faro Island with its boutique hotels.
The Space
On arriving at the apartment, one is greeted by an outdoor table and chairs, where you can spend the evenings relaxing with your favourite drink or book, and enjoying the Algarvian sunset. As one enters the apartment into the hallway, to the left is a modern kitchen fully equipped with washing machine/ dryer, dishwasher, air fryer, oven, induction hob, coffee machine, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, and much more- all that one would expect in an exclusive luxury apartment.
One continues into spacious modern living accommodation with exceptional decor, and filled with natural light. A 55 inch Smart TV (with Lazer TV cable package -over 100 channels including UK channels) is situated above a large, modern, log effect electric fireplace. There is plentiful comfortable seating including a large sofa incorporating a chaise longue, and a dedicated indoor dining area.
From the living room, patio doors open onto a large, private, south- facing open terrace which has sun throughout the day. This spacious private terrace with awning, overlooking the JDG swimming pool and gardens, with the Royal golf course beyond, is ideal for al fresco dining, comprising an outdoor dining table with chairs and a gas BBQ grill. Two sun beds facilitate sunbathing on the apartment terrace in addition to the sun beds available around the JDG pool. Beach/ pool towels for use outside the apartment are provided.
Bedroom 1 has a king size double bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, and built- in wardrobes. Patio doors from bedroom 1 open directly onto the large, open terrace. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds (which can be put together to make a super-king size bed), built-in wardrobes, and a dedicated Wi-fi- enabled workspace. There is a separate bathroom with walk-in shower adjacent to bedroom 2.
The apartment has Wi-fi throughout and is fully air-conditioned. A new housekeeping company has been employed after the recent refurbishment to ensure a professional approach and maintain the highest standards of hygiene protocol and presentation of the apartment. To ensure the safety of our guests, the apartment has a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, smoke and carbon monoxide detector.
