The Neighborhood:
Locales call the hip, affluent East Market District as NuLu and the best place to stay in Louisville! This neighborhood is a dining hub with eateries spanning upscale New American cuisine to casual BBQ, plus stylish bars pouring craft beer and bourbon. Shops sell vintage clothing, women’s fashion, gourmet eats or restored furniture. Contemporary galleries stay open late for the monthly First Friday Hop street party, with art shows, live music, shopping and street food.

Getting Around:
The building is a simple on-off the highways. For local excursions, hop on the LouLift – a free, electric bus fleet with onboard wifi that services 4th Street, downtown shopping district, and beyond. Uber and Lyft are never far. For the bold, we encourage the use of the dockless scooters!

Other Things to Note:
Please know that all CozySuites properties are smoke-free environments. Smoking, of any kind, is not permitted within or outside of our suites, including balconies, patios, or common and/or parking areas. Please know that any sign of smoking is a violation of our stay agreement, which may result in immediate termination and recovery fees beginning at $500.

To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation and denied entry.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
- You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
- You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
- You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.

Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be:
1. 22 years old for out of town guests
2. 25 years old for local guests

No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule.

Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 9pm-8am each day. The home is proactively monitored with decibel sensors for compliance with this noise policy.

Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check.

Note that all guests are required to submit a $200 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $39.99 non-refundable damage waiver.

Awful experience much from start to finish. The listing was deceptive about cost, requiring a deposit that was only mentioned at check in. There was also an absurd process with my ID that they store for 6 months. I never would've booked if I knew this nonsense, which has never been required at ANY other BNB we've stayed at. They basically have you hostage, since you've already paid the non-refundable cost of the stay. Then, despite filling that all out around 2pm, when we tried to check in at 9pm, it said it was too early, and contacting them, I got a message saying I needed to get approval for early check in. To be clear, check in started at 4pm... The place also has the previous occupants stuff still on the counter. There was a yapping dog in the apartment next door that barked CONSTANTLY, which could be heard through the bedroom wall. Also, the sound from the pool/courtyard went on until around midnight, including loud music you could hear over the television. Oh, speaking of the pool, despite having 4 people, we were only given 2 passes. The pool itself said only 5 people total were allowed in the pool at one time. Not that it mattered, because it was gross, with trash and plants floating in it. Since it's in the courtyard, it's almost entirely shaded, it was freezing on an 85 degree day.The only plus are the beds were fine and it is fairly convenient to walk down main street. However, being at the farm end, there's construction everywhere and the area was sketchy.

Great Stay in Nulu/Butchertown area

We enjoyed the apartment very much. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were sparkly clean, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.We also enjoyed the pool. And the residents of the building were so nice and helpful to us!We found great restaurants and shops nearby, we will be back!
