Property is dated. Owner has blocked off access to lobby and looks like he has made it his office. All transactions are done in the Air Lock between the outside and door and the door to lobby. It was clean and Owner was nice. I forgot my key and had to wake him up and he came to window with just a t-shirt and towel on - again very nice man but it could use a refresh

The gentleman at the check in counter was nice and pleasant. This is an older motel that just happens to have a microwave and small fridge so now it is an Inn? Facility is covered with spiderwebs and so is the room. The floor had not been vacuumed and my non smoking room had bedding with cigarette burns. If you need towels, it is your responsibility to bring them to the front counter to trade them in. I also did not care for the tracking of my vehicle.

I didn’t even stay here. Staff was unpleasant, wouldn’t even consider letting us check in an hour early. . It was just a bad experience overall. DO NOT recommend. Lost my money and will never book this place again.

Hi, we have check in time and check out and you know so why you came early you should book your room were fits your time as you need. we will still be open even if you do not book with us again.

Staff in office was not very friendly and took to long to get us checked in. We reserved a non smoking room with king bed. The room we got had two double beds with sway back mattress. Will never stay there again. Only stayed one night but paid for two. I was told that I had contact Expedia to see about getting a refund

The room was clean and spacious. Very nice. The outside needs attention. Rotten boards hanging from roof and the entrance is scary. It needs attention.

Place to crash
Lobby is closed, outside a little tired, room in decent condition, shower curtain very moldy, headboard broken, A/C good. Got into room at 1:30am and out before 8am so were not there long; not a bad place to crash for some shut eye.

Worst place ever to stay at!
Very rude clerk, ugly attitude. He told us that “if you want better, don’t book online”! He said this when we asked any question. Our room was upstairs, I’d specifically asked for a room downstairs because of my husbands knees and back. We were told that all rooms downstairs were booked. I looked at the parking spaces several times, took pictures of the empty spaces up until 10:00, then again before 7:30 am. There were 4 cars parked in the back, and 4 cars Parked in the front, including mine! My husband had to stop twice going up the stairs carrying 2 overnight bags. Had he fallen, I would be sueing you. We’ve never been treated so badly at a hotel.

Just a really, really run-down old motel. It’s old, rather dirty, smells bad, old musty smell of damp floors, and stale cigarettes. It’s be dry cheap, which only attracts the clientele who will pay 40 bucks a night. Did not feel safe. Worried about my car getting broken into to. It’s just a very cheap place.

The only problem I had was I could not understand why, if Travelocoty was processing my card payment and Travelocoty was going to pay the inn, why the man on duty said I had to give him my card. He took ot and left the room for 5 to 10 minutes and he made a copy ofimy card. He did not return the copy of my card he made, when we checked out either.

We came to Louisville for a family emergency and this was literally the only place that had a room. The no smoking sign on the door was hanging off and upon walking into the room and it already smelled of smoke. It did not seem clean. There were towels hanging in the bathroom and 1 wash cloth and it had hair in it. We did not even use the bath tub because there was hair in it. The bed ugh, the covers did not smell clean. We slept on top of the covers with blankets that we brought with us. I would not stay here again. I would rather sleep in my car.

Hi, The room i gave you it is 100 %non smoking clean room . I Show the non smoking room sign was came off, it is wear and tear item and it can came off any time after our inspection. When i check you inn, I did show and you also told me that your husband is smoker so the smell was you getting from him and i check your room after you check out today and found that your husband smoke our non smoking room. I should charge you for the penalty for it.You should be thankful that you did not had sleep in your car. If you had any problem you should call and talk to me.

Not recommended
The room was in no way clean, the room furniture was horribly stained & large toenail cuttings on the floor by the bed. The AC did not work properly, extremely loud & didn’t cool as it should’ve. Our room window external pane had a large hole from something hitting it. Mattresses were worn, but at least the sheets were clean.

Bad night..
There was spiders coming out the air vent when I turned on the air because it was hot in there. My bed had springs coming up in it and the guy working came and sprayed for the spiders. The little coffee maker didn’t work . Overall a bad experience before going to a funeral.

1st thing to do is call Front Desk If any thing not working or do not how to use it. Every coffee maker in our rooms in new style and working. If did call front desk they will always give help 24/7/365. Only think you have to do is put water, set coffee pad in tray and plug in and push switch on bottom off the side OR press tab were you put coffee cup. Next time remember any hotel/motel you stay and do know how to use it please call front desk. Homegate Inn Manager jay.

Comfortable Room
I inadvertently booked a smoking room and was not able to switch rooms. However, the smell was not an overwhelming one and we were able to stand it. The beds were very comfortable and everyone was able to sleep. Room temperature was great, AC worked just fine. It had a fridge and microwave. The only thing I did not like was there was dried urine on the toilet seat. Other than that, the room was very nice and at a great price.

OK Hotel in small City
For the cost, the comfort and room met my expectation. I was very dissatisfied with staff. My flight to a wedding was delayed to the point my daughter and I missed connecting flight and had to spend the night in another city. The next morning we arrived to this hotel around 11am. The staff had 0% compassion and would not allow us to check in early without a fee. Either we pay approximately 50% of what I paid for a night, or wait until 3pm. (Rooms were cleaned and available ). I purchased the weekend stay through Expedia, who called management, they still did not budge. I wanted to cancel, but of course my 3 night stay was already paid for and non-refundable. I understand policy, but I have stayed in many (much nicer) hotels and I never had this problem. For the record, money was not an issue, I just refused to give this establishment another dime. Unless total emergency, I will never stay here again...wirh that said, I still tried to rate quality of room fairly.

This hotel has hidden fees out of the wazoo! I ended up paying more than the nicer hotels charged and had zero amenities. Arrived a little earlier than we expected and they told us we could not check in until 3:00 pm. I asked if there was any earlier and they said for $30 we could check in ONE HOUR EARLY! Their "breakfast" consisted of cold toast and cereal, which you could not take out of the dinning area. The room was dirty and in need of maintenance. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Save yourself from this awful place!! Don't waste
This room was a disgrace and I am furious that I was charged $70 per night to sleep in filth. I WANT A REFUND!! My husband left the room at the end of our stay with bites all over his legs and God only knows from what. The sheets had stains on them, the carpets had stains, the bathroom had a mildew smell as well as the "clean towels". We stayed 4 nights and 2 of the nights the sheets were changed and only because we had to take them off of the bed and put them on the floor for them to be changed. The room was vacuumed once and that's about the extent of the cleaning that was done. We had to go out and buy towels from Wal Mart because the towels were so cheap and smelly. The pictures that were put up were not EVEN CLOSE TO REALITY!! Free breakfast? What free breakfast?? Please anyone drive the extra miles to stay anywhere but here.

Good location for Mississippi State football game!
Price was ok for the room. Outdated, bed linen was clean but hold in bedspread - looks like a smoker's issue. The staff was nice and helpful; however, when I told the owner about the bedspread his reply was that "you want need - probably just use sheets".

Just Gross!!
The manager tried to charge me forty dollars for two people in the room. He said the reservation was for two people, not four. I argued with him and he did not charge me the extra monies. There was dried blood in the bathroom. Linens were stained. It was pretty gross. If it wasn't 2 AM and there was another available hotel nearby, I would have left.

An OK room to stay in if you need a place to sleep
Check in was a little slow.... It seems like the desk clerk was new. Also, it seemed a little weird that she needed a copy of my credit card even though I paid for my room online. She said the impression of the card she got would be for, 'incidentals'. Hmmmm....... I better not have any surprise 'incidental' charges on my card!!!!
