"This is a lovely cottage in a nice location to explore Connemara and the Aran Islands. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

" What a lovely cottage! Having the en suite instead of a main floor bathroom was a blessing.We didn’t get to meet Carmel, but Joe was lovely. He likes a bit of craic & had some lovely suggestions for our stay. The internet connections a bit spotty, but it sounds as though it’s being worked on."

"Not only in a lovely location with great hosts who made us welcome but also the enchantment of a local pub with true gaelic music.The walk along the beach ( about 600 metres away) is an absolute must ."

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites."

"It is magical home in a magical place. It can't be more welcoming. The house is full of light . I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. I have love playing the piano and cooking in the big kitchen.The bedrooms upstairs are big and very comfortable.Eileen has been very nice to us.She has answered all our questions.Hope to come back again soon."

"Our family of four was surrounded by lush greenery and Irish hillside in an authentic country cottage. We enjoyed watching the sheep roam the yard everyday. The calmness of the place was amazing. We had everything we needed. We were able to grocery shop a few miles away and cook at the cottage to save money for our adventures. Our children played the board games and hiked around the property.
