"The property was in the country and easy to find. The owners were on holiday so we didn’t get to meet them but Carol let us into the cottage. She was amazing! Very helpful and kind! She showed us around the property, and gave us recommendations on where to buy groceries and some things to do in the area. We loved hearing the history of the property. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend! "

"We came from Bray through wicklow mts to Carlow and visited Kilkenny on st patricks day. The duplex is brand new and sparrkling clean. Prettierin person than the pics. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has all you need with microwave and washing machine. The towels are very soft. The view fantastic. The couch reclines and very comfortable. Nothing we were in need of. "Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!"

"If you don't want the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Borahead Lodge. A peaceful, quiet cottage only minutes from dining, groceries and Dublin. It's a short drive (40 minutes) from Dublin airport. 20 minute drive to the Red Cow park and ride Luas station so you don't have to fight Dublin downtown traffic. Bridie (our friendly host) gave great advice about the area and shared pears from her orchard. If we're ever back in Ireland, we will be staying here."

"Everything good except shower in ensuite needs new shower head. Very poor Internet signal at the house. No WiFi in house either. No outdoor furniture in back yard. Good central location for tourist attractions. Good Central heating. Very limited channels on TV. Good big dining room for family meals seating 8 people. Overall nice property with spacious bedrooms and living room."

"We paid for this property and we didn't stay as it was really unfit for a holiday letting. Dirty,smelly,unkempt, poor location. Dangerous road for getting in and out of. We had to look for alyernative accommodation. We would like to have my money refunded in full. Thank you."
