We really enjoyed the location of this unit. The layout is a teeny bit funky - there isn't a real kitchen, the bedrooms area downstairs, bathrooms are dated, the owner lives in a different section of the house - we heard other people but never met anyone in person.The unit smelled heavily of intense cleaning products when we first arrived.

We had a comfortable stay at this vacation rental. The place was clean and well-maintained, and the location was close to everything we needed. While we appreciated the kitchenette, we would have preferred a full kitchen, as the limited appliances made cooking a bit challenging. Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient and tidy spot.

The property is Hollywood of a past era. A eclectic mix of styles that function well but are dated. Overall nice and clean and the location is great. King size beds are super comfortable. Would happily stay again.

amazing location great host

This property is in a great location very close to lots of shops, restaurants, etc. itā€™s up in the hills, so it has great view of the city. Only drawback would be that it doesnā€™t have a real kitchen if you want to actually cook, but you can do quick heat ups, air fryer, oven sink, and refrigerator. The beds are extremely comfortable, and there are decks on both level levels of the house.

Lots of space. Nice, polite owner. Great location with private parking. Very strong ACs in every room, which is always a top priority for me! Beautiful views. Very large beds w/ very comfortable mattresses, blankets and pillows. Lots of streaming options and channels on TVs. Reasonably priced for its size, location and quality. Owner provided lots of shampoo/conditioner choices. Only small complaint would be hot water in the sink in one of the bathrooms had a very thin stream. But we never mentioned it to owner and it wasnā€™t a very big strike at all against this very nice apt. :)

Super location with view!

We were 2 couples in LA for a weekend of museums and good food. This home was a perfect landing spot for us. The pros: Super location, convenient to tons of restaurants, shopping, museums, Hollywood action. The view was fabulous overlooking the LA basin. Comfortable beds, very quiet neighborhood. Garage parking. The cons: No real kitchen if you actually want to cook. Not well equipped with amenities...Keurig machine but not a single starter pod for our first morning. No dish towels or paper towels. No soap in bathrooms or showers. Though it lacked the typical amenities, the location was so perfect we would stay here again but plan on coming prepared.

very convenient location, quiet but close to Sunset Blvd, Great view, birds singing. Gracious but unobtrusive host (lives upstairs) Wonderful beds. Decor and furnishings are a little dated but comfortable. One listing mentioned a first floor bedroom and a loft. Actually two large bedrooms with balconies, but both are at bottom of a long stair (parking and entry and living area on 2nd floor.) Might be tough on some renters if expecting bed on entrance level. two baths but only one on the floor with bedrooms. Not an en suite. Great collection of books if staying for an extended period. Good value, Did I mention, bed was the best in memory. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great host, great location, great views - what's not to like?

The pictures and description are quite accurate. The living room was great, the beds were comfy. The view from the balcony was AMAZING - my son and I sat out there for about 2 hours just chatting and admiring the view of downtown LA as well as the hollywood hills themselves. Location? GREAT! But what put it a step above was the host. Sam was so nice, super communicator, gave awesome recommendations on where to eat, replied to messages super quickly. We really enjoyed it.
