South Bay Beach Cities (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo, El Segundo, Playa Del Rey) are definitely a `bubble`, separated enough from the bustle of LA that they do feel like a true escape. Staying in the bubble and hanging at the beach is highly acceptable and great get away to escape the bustle of LA.
If you don`t have a private car, we recommend renting a car or using Uber or Lyft.
Home Truths: *The house is not suitable for kids due to the balconies and many levels. *Master Bathroom shower steam system does not work. *PET POLICY: Only 1 adult dog up to 30lbs allowed. Cats or any other animals are not allowed anytime. (see full policy in the house rules)

NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.
No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible. -Please respect check-in and checkout times: Check-in is 4pm and Checkout is 10am. -Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside the booking platform. -Host may request a photocopy of renter`s ID for verification before check-in. -This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter. -Spa Maintenance: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a `show up` charge, even if no work is performed. -Absolutely no parties or loud music. -Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the property. - All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID). - This is a dog-friendly spot. If you are allergic or don`t like pets, this might not be a good fit!
PET POLICY: -Only 1 adult dog up to 30lbs allowed. Cats or any other animals are not allowed anytime. -Dog must be house and potty trained and cannot be left alone or on furniture -Pet fee: $500 non refundable -Pet deposit: $500 refundable -Guests assumes full responsibility for all and any damage caused by the pet during the stay. Pet fee is not meant to cover accidents to carpets and/or furniture, nor picking up after your dog or excessive fur cleaning; pet owner will be held responsible for all and any damages.
Those fees are not included in the price shown by the booking platform and should be paid via the booking platform resolutions before check-in.
If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.
PET ETIQUETTE: - Control their barking - if you have a loud dog, please never leave it in the home alone. - Don’t let them treat everything like a fire hydrant (inside and outside the home). - Play is fun, but silence is golden - be respectful of the neighbors. - Keep them on leash while outside the home. - Always pick up after your dog. - Wash those paws and minimize bringing messes inside the home.
The guest(s) will ride the bicycles at the guest’s own risk. The host will not be held responsible for the injuries sustained by the guest and/or the guest’s occupants when using bicycles, and the guest will indemnify the host for any actions resulting from injuries to guest and/or guest’s occupants.
Late Checkout Policy Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g., delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g., electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows: • Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater. • 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater. • More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate. To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules, guest complaints) upon request to ensure transparency.
Additional Cleaning Policy Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean condition, consistent with normal use. Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. This fee covers costs such as extended cleaning times or specialized cleaning needs. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor. We will make every effort to accurately reflect the additional work needed and the time required to complete it, providing documentation (e.g., photos, cleaning logs) upon request to ensure transparency.
Important Fee Disclosure for Long-Term Stays (30+ Days): Should this property be reserved for 28 days or more, we reserve the right to apply additional monthly fees to cover certain ongoing expenses (eg utilities) not included in the standard nightly rate. These may include, but are not limited to: • Gas and electricity • Water and sewer • Trash and recycling • Internet and streaming services • Other utility or maintenance surcharges applicable to the home which will be known prior to the time of booking These fees may be assessed as either: • A flat monthly fee, or • A fee calculated as up to 5% of the monthly rent. Such fees may be collected directly through the booking platform platform or invoiced separately as permitted by the booking platform policy. The place was great for my needs and the dog settled in after he got comfortable with the staircase. Didn’t want for much in the kitchen and the views and location can’t be beat.
