Perfect room, poor breakfast
Local e quartos fantásticos. Amenidades e conforto também. O café da manhã deixa MUITO a desejar, e o fato do valet não nos dar privacidade quanto ao nosso carro é muito ruim. O restaurante do hotel e movimentado e por isso eles se fazem necessários, mas nos como hóspedes deveríamos ter um pouco de liberdade de ficar com nossa chave do carro nem que seja por alguns minutos.

Hotel muito aconchegante, limpo e bonito. O quarto era bem grande, com duas TVs, terraço de frente para a marina (com uma banheira). Tudo muito lindo e arrumado.

By far the best hotel I've ever had. Shantee and her staff were remarkable. We are Orthdox Jewish and were there for Passover, and they were so respectful of all our needs and knowledgeble of what accomodations we needed as well. If you are considering hotels to stay...book this one!

It's a beautiful hotel. Paying $45 a night to park seemed a bit high. But I would still go back to stay there again. The glass of wine they greet you with at check in is a really nice touch!

Shade Hotel was fantastic! They clearly care about providing a wonderful stay for travelers. We LOVED the location and the rooftop hot tub. We were highly impressed and thankful for the sparkling bubbles and chilled glasses in our room upon our arrival. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it for sure!

The location is wonderful but I would have liked more accessibility to beach/sand. About 20min walk in either direction has that. Otherwise, our room had a lovely view of the marina, sunset and sweet seals, loved hearing them bark. Sadly, a walk on the beach resulted in oil on shoes and feet, but the hotel provided cleaning wipes for feet. A tub on the outdoor balcony was divine! Wonderful service and setting. One other note, there isn’t a pool on the roof, but a very large jacuzzi.

Great hotel. Didn’t get to experience the pool…closed due to huge rainfall. But good staff, great view, nice bar/ restaurant. Some of the appetizers were great. Not the best flatbread (burnt) or calamari. If you want to check out late it’s $100. A bit steep when it’s low season & not busy.

This is my second stay at the Shade. Very nice boutique hotel. very clean and great service. Ricardo in the valet is the best. Will happily stay at the Shade again.

More Hits Than Miss
Hits: Location—easy walk to The Strand, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Pier. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Parts of room were modern. Very good in-house restaurant. Great balcony off pier. Good price. Misses: Hard to overlook one room had bugs. “Amenity Fee” for that room was waived as result, but fee was BS to begin with as not much for amenities. Parts of rooms (carpet) were dated.

Made in the Shade
Shade hotel is relaxing, upscale, and beautiful. Upon arrival you are offered a glass of bubbly and a cookie. The rooftop pool/jacuzzi overlooks the Marina and Palos Verdes. The rooms with balconies have a tub with curtains for privacy. The Sea Level restaurant is excellent and you can dine by the water with firepits. It's dog friendly as well

These people are scam artists and take advantage of you charging you 500?/ day then going down to 250 everyday after youve -“ready payed and signed the grand total checking in. They lie about there being damage and a charge your card without your permission. Terrible service.
