Beautiful house on the beach, lower level. Ocean right outside your door, uncrowded private beach with a historic boardwalk in front of property. Alamitos Bay across the street for swimming and boating, views of Catalina,& downtown LB. Located on Long Beachā€™s desirable Peninsula, surrounded by 3 bodies of water. Hideaway for locals, and multi million $$ homes. Quiet, safe residential area. Relax under a large covered patio while enjoying ocean sea breezes! Spacious 3 BR./2 BA, entire lower duplex. I live upstairs in the upper unit) hardwood floors throughout , a new Samsung French door refrigerator and all new queen mattresses and linens. Open floor plan, fully furnished, large modern kitchen with Granite peninsula bar, updated bathrooms, 3 LED TVā€™s ( 2 bedrooms have TVā€™s, Ideal location , only 50 min away from Hollywood , 30 min. To Disneyland and Orange County. 1 off street parking behind house, in a tandem driveway. Park up to orange cones and next to beige wall. My car is parked parallel of garage , both cars can get out easily). All other cars , ample street parking. Webber charcoal grill. Volleyballs for beach volleyball , smash ball,Beach chairs, boggie boards, beach toys . Bikes , kayaks and stand up paddle boards ,with instruction) are available 5 min away . I live upstairs with my husband, Paul and my 2 small dogs, Rosie and Nikki. I respect your privacy, but am easily available for questions and needs. I enjoy helping people plan the trip of their dreams! Quiet residential area. Friendly neighbors, that enjoy their privacy.Quiet hours after 10 pm , no loud music or talking on deck. Not a house for parties or gatherings over 8. A car is recommended to get groceries, and sight see. There is a liquor/ convenience store and coffee shop , 5 min. walk, to ā€œVibesā€, great breakfast and lunch on 62 nd street.) Can also walk to 2nd street in Belmont Shore along the beach to dine al fresco . Many restaurants deliver. City Bike share also available 5 min. walk away. Uber and Lyft pick up quickly and are easy to get.We now have a free shuttle that will pick up and take you to Belmont Shore or Downtown long Beach, both an easy 5/10 min. Drive

I had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property. The home and location is absolutely stunning, photos donā€™t do it justice. The hosts are very responsive and they truly thought of everything to make this a home away from home for their guests. My family and I will definitely be returning sometime soon because we were all so sad to leave.

Winter quiet

My father and I stayed here while visiting family near Cal State Long Beach. the location was quiet and comfortable. we did not make use of the beach much due to the cold weather but it was great to sit on the beachside deck in the mornings. the location allows for easy access to anywhere you wish to go while still being off the main streets. It was great having an off-street place to park as well.

Huge Dissapointment

We wanted to take a mini vacation with our elderly parents who canā€™t travel anymore so We picked this property locally because of it having ā€œUnobstructed ocean views and because of positive feedback about the property manager. It wasnā€™t clear on the website where to park so we called Marianne who very nice to guide us. We check in to find out that there are sand dunes that block all views of the ocean. I called Marianne again to explain that this was a problem for us. A man came to us who wasnā€™t very courteous to me and was very condescending although I very respectfully told him that we drove 2 hours with our parents to have ocean views. He said that I already told him that many times! I told him once because he didnā€™t seem to understand the hardship and disappointment that we were feeling. It cost us a lot for those 2 days. He gave me an option to leave right that minute, which was going to be too hard in my parents to head back in Friday traffic at 4:30 pm or stay for 1 night and leave in the morning. He rudely told me ā€œ you arenā€™t going to stay for freeā€ to which I responded ā€œ of course not, that wouldnā€™t be fairā€. I explained to him that I wished they notified me that the views were obstructed which is different from the Vrbo website listing. He said it wasnā€™t his fault and the city put dunes up weeks ago when there was a hurricane warning. They refunded me 1 night so I paid a lot for 1 night from 4 pm till 10:30 am with no ocean view& I was disrespected

We had a great stay at this lovely home. Would highly recommend. There is so much to do for all ages, we enjoyed the bay side with our younger kids and also the boogie boards in the ocean. Host are fantastic and very responsive.

Lovely home on the beach

We enjoyed this lovely beach home. The home itself was very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The sand near the house was nice and clean for the kids to play in. Volleyball net very close. Weā€™d stay again.

Awesome house, location and Hosts

Beautiful house, just like the pictures. Marianne was so gracious as to let us stay an extra night after an emergency trip to the hospital, ( unrelated to our accommodations). Everything needed to cook if you choose to or a walk to 2nd street to many fabulous restaurants. Nice ocean breezes and sleeping to the sound of the waves crash on the beach was amazing. Definitely recommend.

This is my third stay at this property. Can't imagine staying anywhere else. Steps from the beach and a very short walk to the Bay. The view is amazing, I feel safe in this area and the owners are close by if there is an issue

Absolutely Wonderful

I'm from Long Beach and always wanted to stay on the peninsula so for this trip home I finally treated myself. The place was absolutely wonderful, even better than expected. We could hear the ocean at night and watch the sunset. Thank you Marianne for everything. :)
